Just to point out a few things. Daemon understands Rhaenyra on a level no one else can. He knows she's married to a gayman and tried to have kids with him and was just doing the best she could. Knew she couldn't even mourn the guy she actually was with when he died but he could. He understands the injustices she suffers because she is a woman and he wants more for her.
Daemon is the only person in this world with whom Rhaenyra can share even the most intimate problems and secrets. With this level of closeness, it was no wonder that they were destined to be together.

Some types of crazy made the Targaryens a dynasty to remember, others made the world bleed.

Yes, there was maybe more chemistry with young R, but i have to say i love them as a couple more now. I see more love and respect, they are older now, life happened and there is only gonna be more stuff from now. Actually when I saw ep 7, after 10 years maybe she still needs to him and so is he. He always cares and pays attention on her by his eyes which is always looking and following her. Maybe he wasn't expressed by words but his actions and his eyes are also enough to know that he loves her so much. Loyalty ,protective and give her powerful actually her crown. Maybe I think Alicent is jealousy about Rhaenyral when she could live as way she wanted and seems the guys downed with her beauty. Well so regret to Alicent and Rhaenyral friendship, they wouldn't never come back as their friendship hood.

That's not true, he always loved her and cared for her, when she was young he stole the dragon egg but all she had to do was ask him and he returned it abandoning his whole plan. Even when he was fighting with his brother, he would bring gifts for her and talk to her about everything she is going through. Knowing what he is capable of, he could have easily killed Rhaenyra and gotten the throne for himself but he didn't because the iron throne and all his ambitions are on one side and Rhaenyra is on the other side. Even then you could see he would never harm her and he would do anything for Rhaenyra. He has only truly and selflessly loved one person in his life and that's Rhaenyra.

I know the scene was amazing, but something off with older Rhaenyra. I can't feel their chemistry which is sooo rare since Matt Smith is The King of Chemistry. Her high valyrian aren't good as well. Her face was always stiff and expressionless, i mean wth with the actor. She was supposed to be in the most comfortable feeling when she was alone with the guy she loves the most.
I disagree. Matt has chemistry with both Emma and Milly but in different way. Chemistry doesn't have to be fire but also can be connection or relationship or dynamic. While he and Milly were hot mess heat, he and Emma give warm feeling, romantic, also doesn't feel like uncle/niece so at least it is not creepy lol. I enjoy both. Matt is still awesome, he is king of chemistry.

I think older Rhaenyra is just more mature and self assured. Young Rhaenyra was like lightning bolts. Older Rhaenyra is a slow but insatiable smoulder. She is more experienced in life and love. The chemistry is still hot. It's just different as it should be. A lot of time has passed.

The sex scene is just poorly made, in my opinion. It's dull and dark. There is no passion in it at all, though they longed for each other for so long. When we see her face, it shows absolutely no emotion. But the actors are good, so i think it's just bad writing

I loved chemistry between them at the start, new actress is super as Rhaenyra but a don’t see so much love like at the beginning. 😔
That was a fiery, chaotic, and wild passion. But he was young and reckless, she even younger with no one comparing to Daemon. Years later at this moment of living their lives so far apart, they need each other now more than ever. It is passion but with a singular purpose and a paramount goal, in which as a power couple nothing will stand in their way of attaining it.

I know the scene was amazing, but something off with older Rhaenyra. I can't feel their chemistry which is sooo rare since Matt Smith is The King of Chemistry. Her high valyrian aren't good as well. Her face was always stiff and expressionless, i mean wth with the actor. She was supposed to be in the most comfortable feeling when she was alone with the guy she loves the most.
I disagree. Matt has chemistry with both Emma and Milly but in different way. Chemistry doesn't have to be fire but also can be connection or relationship or dynamic. While he and Milly were hot mess heat, he and Emma give warm feeling, romantic, also doesn't feel like uncle/niece so at least it is not creepy lol. I enjoy both. Matt is still awesome, he is king of chemistry.
It’s definitely different cause younger Rhaenyra and Daemons chemistry was off the charts but I think I’m so attached to the characters and invested in their story that I see the chemistry no matter what 🤣🤣😭💀idk if I’m making sense
I think older Rhaenyra is just more mature and self assured. Young Rhaenyra was like lightning bolts. Older Rhaenyra is a slow but insatiable smoulder. She is more experienced in life and love. The chemistry is still hot. It's just different as it should be. A lot of time has passed.

Love this...but I am not 100 percent sold on the older Nyra...or just this actress? Chemistry does not seem as passionate or connected with her after this long anticipation....maybe it was the sex scene? I thought it was going to be a lot hotter than what it was you know? I agree with you.. I think the chemistry was totally off there.. I feel the chemistry with younger rhaenyra was very much noticable.. but here with older rhaenyra it's completely off..
The sex scene is just poorly made, in my opinion. It's dull and dark. There is no passion in it at all, though they longed for each other for so long. When we see her face, it shows absolutely no emotion. But the actors are good, so i think it's just bad writing
I agree .. I think the lack of passion is from rhaenery not dameon. The scene was meant to be sensual not ravishing. Her expression is flat .. no fire from her . Hope she improves as the episodes progresses
