- How fast we can Black Border Pat’s Pond on a NEW Account in BTD6! This Level 1 Account has to start with NO unlocks and BEAT Bloons TD 6! We have to Beat every BTD6 game mode including Half Cash, Impoppable, Apopalypse and CHIMPS in order to get a Pat’s Pond Black Border. Easiest way I've found is just place prince of darkness at the beginning of an entrance and it basically covers that entire side in CHIMPS.

hi there, game dev here, though i don't know the internal workings of btd6 or apopalypse i have played the mode enough to vaguely judge how it works (and there's probably stuff on the wiki for it)
from what i can tell, when the game starts, it generates all of the rounds in the game with a seed, and then spawns bloons continuously in the order they were generated in, and the round that displays in the top right goes up when you pop all of the bloons spawned from the lowest round, which is why the round count might jump a lot
as for the way bloons spawn, it seems to have different pools of bloons that it picks from randomly depending on the round number
that's all i have for you, and remember to take this with a grain of salt as i don't know the internal workings of the game nor did i read the wiki, i just went off of my base knowledge of apopalypse from my own experience from playing the mode
Love watching these! I seriously enjoy BTD 6 right now, but it can get pretty redundant playing the same meta Strats every round. This series has not only been entertainment while I watch deflation or mid-game hard mode go by, it's ignited my creativity and helped me come up with some awesome Strats that I've tested (with mixed results) on expert maps.
i don't know for sure, but i always felt like for popalypse that there are rounds and they have a set amount and set types of bloons. Those rounds overlap instead of having a breather in between. And if you wait till a round is going to the next one (the round number changes) than there are still some bloons left from the previous round. Next if you leave you start with the bloons from the round you are on at that point, but not the once from the previous round. This makes that round easier since it is just less bloons. Again i am not sure if this is how it works, but i always felt like that was whats going on. Oh and it saves the amount of lives and money you have at the point of round change.

Oh man Pat's Pond, one of the hardest maps for me personally! I know you say you struggle with this map but you really killed it here, this map has so many difficult medals!
Rooftop tents are great, can really feel the tilt though even if parked on the slightest of inclines
I've gone on too many camping trips to count (at least 20 nights/year), but something that is underrated for summer is just bringing a blanket instead of a sleeping bag. If you plan on going on many summer camps there are sleeping bags with ratings around 80 degrees which is amazing for desert camping in the summer (something I am very familiar with) or just any hot climate.
Quick camping tip: hammocks are super underrated! You can get all sorts of accessories like bug nets and rain covers for them. They're easy and light to pack, and (generally) easy to set up!
Speaking as someone who also loves camping but hates to sleep on the ground, roll-out mats are an equally good option. Especially if you invest in a nice one, I've honestly slept better on my mat than in my bed!
Between the two, if you're hiking out to a camping spot, then hammocks are best for the summer. If you're doing car camping, or it's the winter, then mats are a good way to go -- there's just no beating the convenience and shelter of a tent.
I do a good bit of camping, and one thing I like is hammock camping. A hammock, rain fly, and bug net that wraps around the hammock is really nice in my opinion. Then, I often put a camping sleep mat (one of the very slim ones only as large as your upper body) in the hammock for a little more support and warmth, and to keep mosquitoes from biting through the bug net.
I've gone on a few canoe camping trips in the Boundary Waters, a designated wilderness area in northern Minnesota, and I love it. There's no light pollution at all, so on a clear night the stars are incredible! But you have to be willing to fully rough it for the time that you're out, which I get isn't for everybody.

Use Sniper ( all t5's) prince of darkness, I personally used 2 spike storms + buffs and a few other things for the start and support

just started playing BTD6 again after a break since the game FIRST came out, i reset my account and am starting from scratch and watching this series has helped a lot (i played btd5 for probably 5-6 years, then bought btd6 when it came out and dropped the game within a week lol)

1:06:23 You've talked about a "difference between a black and a gold border" but actually it looks like even with Impoppable its still a silver border. It just seems like, weirdly enough, that they never added/intended a gold border, even if it would make sense to me considering that Impoppable and CHIMPs having their own medal spot AND despite being listed under "hard" they are clearly another step-up from 80 to 100 rounds compared to the other hard modes.
And oh mei, seems like I am catching up finally. Not many black border speed runs missing and I am up to date. :D

As a matter of fact yes, i have attempted pat's pond, when you uploaded the ninja strategy a couple of weeks ago. It has been my favourite strategy since, and no hard feeling for this map, it is advanced for a reason, and I say dont hate the player (or hate the map) hate the game
i did beat this map on chimps two years ago. iirc it was an obyn druid strat because f pats pond :) nowadays i'm missing five black borders so sometimes i come back to pat's pond and other advanced maps to relax from the horror that is muddy puddles chimps start.
ps: for the puoakai put him on close if you don't want him to fly off, same for the dropoff point (the green targeting thingy).
This map took me about 80-90 hours to beat on CHIMPS. I'm not a fan of ring or pixel perfect positioning.
Great work as always! I have to say though that Bloonarius Prime has got to be my most hated Intermediate map at the moment 😅
I've always just slept on the ground in a tent. No mattress or anything. Never really bothered me lol
I think it would be interesting if you used a different hero for each mode. It would be much more challenging, reduce the overuse of Ben & Sauda and will add a strategic aspect of when to 'waste' a hero.

Go to #ouch next . 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈. I found that pats pond on chimps is crazy hard up until r 23. After that,, a solid defense usually never dies. Boat 502 and Druid 250 are good on pat's pond. Half cash is my time to use insta monkeys for achievements.

EROSION - BB geared ezpz, muddy puddles I did with a tutorial so I guess that doesn't count but erosion has stumped me completely. managed the gold border with geraldo but after many hours still no luck with the black border

Okay so I can gage opinion on this does anyone else find reverse to just be super easy? My highest rounds always end up on reverse runs and I have no clue why my highest round ever 238 (I didn't go higher because of lag on mobile) was on reverse. I can't explain why maybe a lot of rushes are designed front heavy or back heavy so reverse gums it up but it just seems wayyy to easy especially besides apopalypse
Edit: my longest time trying for chimps was infernal. It was a map with low coverage my hero was Etienne and I was trying for the achievement with all tier 5 snipers in a chimps game and I spent almost 2 weeks trying for it before I got it by mixing it with smart spike storms

I know this is a month late, but it sounds like maybe you just don’t like camping. Why not just go camping places that have cabin rentals? You can still have the camping/fire experience but the comforts of a bed and it’ll be a lot more reasonable than all the fancy camping stuff that might only get used a couple times a year
I love tent camping. Throw some blankets on the floor of the tent and some pillows and call it a day haha
