- Roblox's Worst Event EVER...
today we talk about the roblox classic event and how bad it was. from the developers of the game scamming players into following them on roblox, to the games picked being very thrown together and lazy (not all of them) i think this is the worst roblox event I've fully played in my over 10 years of playing roblox.

The craziest thing about this event is that games like Natural Disaster Survival, Work at a Pizza Place and Epic Minigames weren't in this event

Everyone is speaking about Work At A Pizza Place, Natural Disaster Survival amd Flood Escape should have been in the event but no one is speaking about Speed Run 4.

I do like to note that TDS devs, weren't that lazy, they've had done lots of updates before the Classic Event even dropped.
But i expected a 1x1x1x1x boss fight tbh like i was disapointing when the last boss was just a fallen king....
I agree the Classic had its own big problems...
But there is no way you can actually say the classic was worse than The -Hunt- Hellhole
The hunt was ass, first time i skipped an event
I lean more towards the hunt, but I think that's simply because of the timing. The hunt was on my spring break, while the classic was near exams.
The classic was right after school ended for me.
The Hunt didn't have scamming devs, the toilet tower defense groomer manager "T - Diddy" Inhe, and plus, The Hunt is Yearly, they got tons of chances to get it right. With Leaks of a 2017 classic event, 2006-2016 Roblox might not ever get another chance.

Fact: The tix in the event weren’t completely useless, you had to use tix to buy the drink coin and the rocket launcher which were used for quests that both give you one coin.

I personally liked this event more than the hunt. I liked the items more than the hunt, cause they were classic looking items.
4:30 The obby in Dress to Impress easy and I’m a mobile player. I more time in the hub than any other game. I did the bare minimum to get all the items. The hub was awesome and Arsenal was cool. I liked Livetopia only because it wasn’t hard.
I luckily got the dev slice and the star creator pie.

Here are some of my thoughts on the event. (a yap session)
Your first point that you brought up is the music not being classic in the hub. I do agree that the music is not very classic, but they have some absolute BANGERS in there. They used the Break In music, they used "A Great Strategy", and honestly I think the music fit perfectly for most of the locations.
While I do agree that the game selection could've been LOADS better, I don't think people really would've cared about the un-classic games as much if the quests were ACTUALLY GOOD. Let me explain what I mean.
For the first time ever, some people actually had hope for Toilet Tower Defense being good, because of the leaks. Didn't ever think that would happen.
Another example, Blade Ball. Blade Ball actually could've been good if they used the boss fight in a cooler way, instead of lazily adding a literal battle pass.
My final example, A Dusty Trip. ADT is probably the newest game in the event, but is one of the best in the event. I've watched dozens of videos on the event, and ADT seems to be one of the favorites.
To me, it really didn't matter if the games were classic or not, what really mattered is if they actually put effort into their quests.
To say Twin Atlas should NEVER do another Roblox event ever again is just unfair to say.
They made the hub, which I think everyone can agree is the best part about the event. Obviously their team is very talented. If a few people on their team do something sh1tty, why should their entire studio pay for it? Just fire the few people who ran the scam, and continue creating.
Those were a few of my thoughts on the event.

lets not forget this time they have more power to check all the games since there was only 15 games unlike the hunt. so its roblox fault don't try to shift the blame for the developers only its both the devs and roblox fault.
Me personally, I found the event pretty good! The items were cool, games like A Dusty Trip and TDS did pretty well at the event and some other games (like Dress To Impress) were effortless but sort of fun and slightly challenging. Bee Swarm was quite fun (but i have played bee swarm a while in the past) so it was difficult
My only gripe was the shit that was Restaraunt tycoon and Adopt me being grindy asf

All of the games pretty much weren’t created within the past 1-2 years, a few of them like bss were created a few years ago.

my opinions on this vid:
1. this was not the WORST event on roblox. miles better than the hunt.
2. the bad thing isnt the games not being classic. a dusty trip is the newest game of the bunch and it was also the best. the actual bad part was that a few of the games just didn't care about the game being fun or even fitting the theme, they just cared about that GREEN 🤑🗣🔥 (also bee swarm is technically classic. it was published in 2015 im pretty sure)

The whole idea behind this event was that 1x1x1x1 “hacked” many popular modern games and mixed the timelines of roblox from back then.
This is why we see games like toilet tower defence which still does not deserve to be in the event lol, probably the best games in the event were arsenal, gunfight arena and road trip.
They include actual new mechanics other than just adding a classic map from the toolbox.
(e.g in gunfight arena they actually made custom maps or arsenal for making a huge huge custom classic map and a decent story)

I think this event was somewhat decent, because you didn’t need to play all the games to unlock all the items. I had some progress on many games on the event (not TTD of course), so I was able to get some enjoyment out of it

They taunt you by saying unspent currency after the event is over can be used on future items. Forced to grind for something you don't even know the price for is quite annoying.

Why do people build these high expectations for events, then hate when roblox doesn't meet those standards. It was close to a good event, and it was by far the best event in recent years. The hub was the best part of the event, and if roblox had been strict with the games in the event, it would've been the best event we have had.

The event itself was mainly theme around modern Roblox in which says itself on the description "Classic spin around Modern Roblox"
The only thing i put highest expectation was the final fight...which disappointed me alots but overall the event was good and like most of the games was quite enjoyable and sometimes fun (other is Driving empires,TTD and adopt me even blade balls is quite annoying and time consuming but i did it's with friends and we got a pretty good time soo maybe that doesn't count)
plus him saying these games have nothing to do with classic roblox is just dumb. most classic roblox games from 2007-2012 were boring versions of todays games. like would you really want to ride a cart into annoying oranges mouth for tix as a game for the event.
Nobody should hate this event, but nobody should really like it much either. It was way better then the hunt but it was mostly carried by the hub and the prizes. That’s terrible when you consider how this was a dev hunt.

As someone who completed the entirety of the hunt and played all games on the classic(did not complete all the classic all tho i did a mix of them) the hunt is much more better. They gave more time and there was under 10 games which were afk simulator and comparing it to the classic a ~5:100 ratio(the hunt) to a `1:15 ratio(the classic) the hunt is better

BEAR alpha do a better job with the classic theme
I disagree with the classic being the worst event ever, since the hunt was worse in more aspects than the classic, but it also all depends on how much fun you had throughout the event which can vary alot from player to player. I personally had a ton of fun with it (mostly with friends and in the lobby however) but It's understandable why some people don't like it and some do though it just all depends on your experience with it.

I honestly thought it was pretty fun! Yes I know the games arent classic thats a bummer but other than that I felt good playing the event, I felt really forced playing the hunt (2024), but the classic event was a nice and chill event! There are some flawes like everything but I had no problem with the event.

To be honest... I kinda agree with you. I think the only things I liked about the event was the main hub or lobby; but on the other hand, I kinda feel ripped-off because of some of the stuff that happened, as well as many of the games that were featured in this event. (Especially that final boss fight with 1x1x1x1. I SHOULD HAVE GOT THAT SWORD FOR FREE AS A GIFT FOR DEFEATING HIM!!!)

The fact they could have done fashion famous wich is the exact same thing instead of dress to impress makes me sad CUS IK THE GAME IS DEAD BUT ITS THE SAME THING AND WAY MORE CLASSIC
4:08 as a DA player (dragon adventures) the event was actually really easy and you should've done it. You just have to find eggs and that's basically it. Besides unlocking the worlds (it's not that bad trust me) its basically that. UNLESS YOU WANT THE NEW DRAGON (oh don't even start on that)
No, I never liked it. First of all, adding the freaking game TTD, Livetopia, Blade Ball and Bed Wars has got to be the worst thing to add on a frickin Classic event and the quests and gameplay do not represent Classic Roblox and they were made after 2018. Second of all, Livetopia’s quest had done nothing to do with classic its like the quest had 0 brain cells to think about the word classic. Third of all, most of these freaking games were just horrible they did not represent about anything classic all of it was just so not classic. Lastly, the selected games (except Arsenal, Bee Swarm Simulator and TDS) are not classic. They could have picked Flood Escape: Classic, Work at a Pizza Place, Natural Disaster Survival, Speed Run 4 and more before 2018 games should have been added but they just added the games with more popularity. This is the most horrible event ever
There's something trurly... odd about one fact. Most of the event revolved around Tix. Something that a majority of current Roblox playerbase had never experienced. Yes, these were an integral element of "classic" Roblox. You had to play before 2016 to actually experience the currency. And most of the players that I found in the hub, were shown to have joined around 2020-2024. Hell, the oldest account I have found (not including mine, of course) was from 2019. That's still long after Tix was removed from the game.

Yes a lot of the games sucked (I finished it aswell) but i'm going to be honest it was a lot better than the hunt in my eyes and I feel like they genuily tried with this one, but at the end of the day its more of the games fault rather than Roblox themselves.
The event isn’t SUPPOSED to have classic games. It’s making NEWER games BECOME CLASSIC. That’s what the classic is based off.
