I'm I zone 3 area and it's March 08, -11c daytime -17c night and will be for several more days. Normal for this area is 0c daytime -8c evening during early March. So much for climate change/global warming.
I ran into an elderly lady in the dollar store she said she planted seeds right into the ground as soon as the tree's start to bud and she always was successful. She never seeds started in the house. Not sure all she started but, I going to do a test this year and see how it goes. I'm in Zone 3 and yes we still have lots of snow :(
4 ft + of snow yet.. but yeah I should start those broccoli thingys. I did start some hot Thai chili's and habaneros yesterday because they never seem to produce by the time they have to come out of the ground. Thanks for the video!
Hi there and thanks for your videos. I have a real problem. My last frost date is May 13 putting me in zone 3 or 4, and my first frost is around Nov. 1st, putting me in zone 7. So what do I do? Thanks again.

Planting times are based off your frost dates not your zone, so use that last frost date. Zones are based on your average low winter temps.
@@StoneyAcresGardening Thanks once again.
Last frost date somewhere between May 15th and March 1st. Hmmm I'm guessing you meant between May 15th and June 1st.
