I always love seeing those shwoos. Gail, the items you make are always beautiful. Imagine if somehow one of those jewelers pieces ended up in the river, and a future Mudlark found it. They would be very pleased.

Amazing - what a beautifully crafted workbench (I think their website's crashed!) The ornament came out beautifully, too - who would have thought an old discarded bike reflector could be such a pretty Christmas tree ornament. ENJOY! 👍🦘🐾🥂🎅
Worn as a pendant, it would remind me a bit too much of the amulet worn by Mrs. Brisby in movie, "The Secret of NIMH", particularly the scene where the crow, Jeremy, becomes obsessed with the "sparkly!"
Highly recommend it, and the novel it's based on: "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, to anyone interested.

Wow, only Gail could make an already beautiful object even more beautiful! The reflector is absolutely stunning. When you showed it last week, I fell in love with it and went to search for one on eBay, but none were as gorgeous as yours. I believe it's a Raleigh mudlight reflector, called either Fairylight or Fairylite. Some of the vintage ones are selling for a small fortune! I couldn't afford those, so am awaiting a very unusual red glass triangular diamond patterned pre-1945 one, from Germany. Congratulations on your amazing new workdesk, it's fantastic, you deserve it and I hope you enjoy working at it making all those amazing creations. Gail, you are extremely talented and I love everything you make (both of you). xx
What a wonderful workbench and desk ladies. That is going to help your organization and creative energy tremendously. Having everything conveniently placed is so conducive to a creative work space. The proof was in the beautifully turned out glittering ornament Gail. Who knew a bike reflector could look so good?! Beware out there, you old bike owners. If your reflectors go missing you will know I have swiped them for the Northern Mudlarks to make more ornaments. Just kidding. ...ha ha ha... Well I can't say I am as quick as the white Shwoo, but she had my same idea....ha ha ha... How simply hilarious! I laughed so hard Alex, I couldn't help myself...sorry...but if you offer the Shwoo's a glimmering beauty like that, you shouldn't be surprised if they take you up on it! I'm so pleased that you ladies now have a sturdy, well designed jewelers work bench. Your work would always turn out splendidly, though having the proper tool/workbench to bring your ideas into reality, helps you accomplish it with ease. I agree with Alex and the shwoos. Hi gals...have you ever used a silver product called continuum. I started using it and wont use sterling anymore. It's super white, doesn't tarnish, when heated turns tough a 14k white. Its composed of silver and palladium so a tad more spendy that regular sterling, but well worth it. Available thru Stuller co. in the US. Really enjoyed watching Gail work her magic on that reflector. It turned out beautifully. I feel like the Shwoo...grab it and run like crazy.
Exciting ending, naughty shroo (how do you spell that?) Remind me of my little dog snatching socks out of the laundry and running under the bed! 🤣
The pendant was lovely; simple is better.. The red glass shines alone, set off by the beautiful silver band. After Christmas, I'd hang that in a sunny window. All the best to you both; I love your channel.
