Just want to thank you for posting this. It has helped me immensely.
I'm just wondering if you are now using Kontakt 7 now as I see you posted this one year ago. If so, could you do another video showing how to the same thing with Kontakt 7. I'm asking this because there are icons and languages within version 7 that are different than version 6 and I'm somewhat confused when trying to accomplish this.
    I'm using Studio One+ 6.5
Thanks so much!!! You have a new subscriber. 😁

I will have a new channel soon with a more professional setup. That's very kind and there are more things to come

    Great stuff! Solid and comprehensive.
(I wish there was a Kontakt script that works similar to "smart voice split" in session strings pro 2, for being able to send midi from just one channel and auto-split to several instruments inside kontakt. Maybe there is. I find it a tiny bit bothersome to edit every chord voice in a separate midi clip/channel sometimes)

If you highlight your events on those channels you can edit them in one piano roll.

Have you tried setting the Kontakt instruments to the same midi channel, instead of how they go up in numbers for each subsequent Kontakt instrument?

I can't thank you enough for all this information. I had to seek on TH-cam with the same process regarding Cubase, and it was no less complex then. It would have taken me ages to find this solution (if ever) using the Studio One manual and Kontakt help documents. But you made it so clear and instantly accessible. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge, and in such am understandable and concise way. As well as offering multiple usage scenarios for Kontakt with Studio One, Fantastic!

I'm really glad that helped Cliff, I'm working on more for the new year so hopefully I can show you some even easier ways and developments next time :)

Trying to find a video that shows what to do if you can't find kontakt under instrument in studio one.

I'm looking for the same. I just installed Studio One 5 and it's eluding me how to get the kontact to show as an instrument.
