This is nice device for managing a home network. I noticed that it comes with a 1 yr security subscription. What is that for and how much does it cost to renew on a yearly basis? Great review.
So this device appears to be a user friendly combination of the features found in software like Norton Internet Security and the average wi-fi router admin console presented in a nice mobile app. I'm surprised they didn't design it to be placed between the home router the internet and add in some VPN features. Review makes device look like interloper which sits between cable company modem & home router, then just inventories one's home network. It does NOT appear to function as a Fire Wall. Why would anyone use this instead of a Fire Wall?
Quick question : So I don't have to setup any antivirus or purchase licenses for the computers since if i get this one and it will be a home shield protecting all the devices in the lan ?

You didn't talk about how this device works , I would have appreciated that as while we all respect your professionality we also like to know what we are paying for .What makes this device better than a software firewall .There are tons of devices out there and many have different methods so maybe some more technical data would have been nice .
