@@EricClapton1945 I have a Jem Jr. Got is as a "Blemished" item for $424. The blemish was in the monkey grip. They didn't sand it smooth. Big deal. It saved me $75. The pickups are better than I expected. I did change out the trem to a Gotoh GE1996T and that made it so much better.

I don't leave my tremolo bars on my guitars when the case is closed. There's never any reason for it. Unless it's designed to allow for this I take my bars off my guitars and put them in the storage compartment intended for this purpose. That kid was stupid and tying to "pull a fast one". I can't tell you how many times I've seen this when visiting pawn shops. Most people want to make it seem as if what they have is really valuable.

Pawnshops in general do 20% of blue book value , that’s according to visiting 32 states not sure about the rest , most won’t take specialty items even with documentation unless it’s precious metals and they give you weight and purity doesn’t matter if it was from the czar of Russia unless you go to pawn stars lol

Little detail you might want to edit in your video, but at the end you told him you wanted an actual "Steve Vai and not the Jem JR made in Indonesia", you've put a picture of a JEM Premium, which is also made in Indonesia The "actual steve vai" you're talking about were made in Japan and were discontinued in like 2019, a bit before they introduced the replacement called "Pia" ( with the petals instead of the monkey grip ) The pricing on case seemed correct at first, and if he bought the guitar during covid, no surprise about paying 700$ for it, getting import from Korea and Indonesia were an actual nightmare during that time and some price were yonked by dealer due to that.

Rich Warlock guitars one in black cherry and one in purple in my collection. I’ve known a lot of rock musicians that play guitar including Steve Vai. These are faked a lot, I bought one off eBay, i wasn't fooled for one second, I went straight to eBay as soon as I opened it up. I got my money back and they let me keep it as they kicked that seller off the site. then I sold it for exactly what a copy goes for, I sold it as a copy, got my money back and the guitar and got money for the fake... win win for me, not that I would want to go through that again...and this kid was lying the whole time.
