That’s a lot cord that you saved up buddy! Going to be a good pay day when you cash them in! Hope and pray all your appointments go good my friend! Awesome shirt you get that made buddy? Awesome pay day buddy! Great video buddy!
I use the same scrapyard as Tinman Scrapper and Big Country Scrapper (John Zubicks Ltd) and I just sold all my appliance wire today and it was all classified as 40% copper recovery at 1.84 per pound, that includes the flat single layer of insulation cords. Tinman has recently updated his information regarding wire grades in his latest videos. ✌️
@@ScrappingwithGrandpa had a nice chat with the scrapyard staff today regarding my single layer of insulation wire and they all agreed that it’s all 40% recovery, extension cords, double layered appliance cords, single layered appliance cords, all the same category. 60% recovery would be the thicker solid core wire like Romex. Like you said, every yard is different and categorizes things differently. I’ve never ran into Tinman or Big Country at the yard but hope to meet them both someday.
I used to separate my wire but they always combined it anyway.90 a pound not bad, I take the brass ends off first. It is amazing how much trash our country makes and doesn’t recycle. It is like throwing money away and a lot of people don’t realize it.
I see a heart Dr. I have had triple bypass surgery 👍
