- A few days ago I purchased a small collection of sports cards that were stashed away inside of a grimy, old suitcase and binders. In today’s video I'll be combing through it all in search of any possible big name rookie cards.

My brother-in-law bought two binders full of football cards from Goodwill online auctions for $7.99 and found a $150 Tom Brady RC lol

Emmit Smith rookie is a few bucks. That Pro Set card back in the day was my first good pull. However being so new to the hobby and sports I was hustled on the school bus for it in a crooked trade. 😆 Lesson learned. It was worth more back then. But I still don't have one. 🙄

I think for 20 bucks you done amazing you got your money back on the binder pages probably over 100dollars in top loaders and all the memories of the 90's was a plus always enjoy your videos on cards and toys hope your feeling better

Because they were collecting for FUN, not worried about using their cards to pay for kids' college and replace a 401K. Oh the horrors.
Get on Facebook marketplace sometime, if you don't already.... always boxes and boxes for sale with cards just thrown in. Always makes me cringe!
One of the most intelligent comments I've read in a long time. All this PSA/Grading crap ruined the hobby. I'm perfectly happy having my cards upgraded. They are in amazing shape and I'm not ever planning to grade.

There was an Emmitt Smith 90 pro set rookie in there too. Not a high dollar card but worth a couple bucks.
A few weeks ago I went an bought a set of un opened 87 donruss opening day. Finally opened it yesterday and finally got a rance mulinicks or however it’s spelled lol. Just know how you like his name lol got it in a penny sleeve 😂
With all of the blank spots in the binder looks like someone has been through it. That is the first thing to look for when buying these or passing in my opinion.
I think right around 1:00:45 I saw a 2002 Topps Tom Brady on the right side of the suitcase...first Topps card
I noticed a 1990 Junior Seau/Pro Set Rookie card and a 2006 Topps Maurice Jones-Drew Rookie card within the 1st "Dirt Bag" binder....

As someone working in Pest Control, I can tell you be careful buying things from people that do cleanouts. You are very likely to get German roaches and bed bugs as a bonus part of your lot.

At the beginning of the suitcase you pulled out a sleeved Emmitt Smith 90 Pro Set RC.. it's about a $5 or $6 card.

That was very interesting, the 1990 pro set emmitt smith was his rookie card, maybe a 10 dollar card...along with the second year brady, graded Aikman and Jeter rookie card, I would say you got more than you money's worth.....

Things like dinged corners and white spots don't really bother me if I'm stacking cards in my own collection. Anything that I think might be infested with bugs or mildew doesn't come anywhere near my house. I cannot abide by damage that can spread to other paper

There was a Terrell Owens rookie card skybox that you missed! Not sure about condition but if it's in good condition It's def worth more then $20. Terrell Owens finished top 5 in most statistical categories for a WR so definitely a great player

Definitely wear gloves if you choose to go through them again....also I would put them in an airtight tote until you could get to them. Mites, mold, or whatever other bugs in the box or suitcase. I give you credit for going through them all. I always enjoy your videos. I am always looking for boxes of 90 topps for you but I imagine you have been to almost everywhere I have been. I will look when I head to Virginia next month. Who knows what lurks in the stores and flea markets there. Keep up the videos.

I would grab that Jeter couple of Jordans an a couple of those Brady's and a couple other cards that I saw and then box up the rest and sell them for $20
