Speaking of live. They did a live stream on June 19th for Hellfest at Home 2021. Insane 1 hr set with Vortex as the closing track.

Yup, the entire band is mega talented. In all my years of listening to metal, no other band has blown me away like these guys do.

Nice reaction bro, yeah this song is pretty awesome. They've said that this song isn't even one of their favorites off of their new Wallflowers album. Be prepared, because they just announced that they're dropping another new single at the end of July. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

Lol, that's blunt of them. They don't typically release the best first though. They have enough awesome songs to release lesser songs first and then save better songs for later to keep the buzz rolling. Love this song myself though. :) Can't wait to see what follows.

The different sound here is that their past albums have mixed jazz and metal. This one is mixing in 90s-early 00s alt rock instead. Vortex has a lot of AIC influence, see for example Would. Cool reaction. Subbed. Cheers!

You'll be happy to know Vlad wrote most of the music for this album.

As others have said, Vlad is their 5th drummer, but their previous drummer Dmitry Kim is VERY significant. He was last with them for the album "King of Everything" and understandably left due to their absolutely brutal tour schedule. He left on very good terms and the band still considers him a very close friend, and more. To me, Vlad is a slightly better drummer overall, but Kim, as an assistant sound engineer, worked closely with Vlad on this album. We're just now hearing a hint of their work in Jinjer's first release. I can't wait to hear the rest of this album! On a side note, Dmitry did a did a drum cover of this song... th-cam.com/video/yKEacEDj4zM/w-d-xo.html If anyone has the right to do so, it has to be Dmitry Kim.

Actually, Vlad is their 5th drummer.

1.1M views only 2 weeks after release. And counting!
The original drummer? There's only one bootleg video with him and I don't think you've reacted to it. I think you meant "the previous drummer", because as you know, Vlad is their 5th drummer. And if you didn't know, now you do. ; )

There's nothing small about their effects budget - they just saved it all for the last 45 seconds or so.

Hey, if you like Jinjer and you're interested in Japanese metal, have you heard of Merging Moon?
