An astonishing repair 🎉. Very nicely completed. Maybe we can have a video of the original engine tear down ?. Would be great to know how it destroyed itself.
I suspect this is an Ackerman issue, similar to '70s and '80s lotus models, the front wheels are set up to remain more or less parallel even on lock. This provides better straight line stability and cornering at speed, the trade-off is skipping tyres at full lock at slow speeds. Seems to be well documented on Jaguar forums.
Did you not have your exhaust valves open 😉 You can get it to pop and bang forever in Sport by tapping the throttle pedal very lightly 😂 Great videos ... Keep up the excellent work 👍
Why do you need special oil for the transfer box isn't it synthetic 75w90, it would be the same as any axle or gearbox oil, I can't see it being any different, it doesn't give you the weight in the specifications or on the bottle?
Love these motors, will be purchasing one in the future. Currently have a focus ST, about to upgrade to an RS3 then maybe juuuuuuust maybe in 2-3 years I will try get my hands on one of these 😍 Love the content, so raw and so genuine. Keep up the good work. Love coming from Aberdeen
On one of my cars besides other things I upgraded the map sensor to a more sensitive and it's supposed to been high performance bla bla , well it was way too sensitive and it would start cutting out the car, took her to the dealership since it was still under warranty told him what I did ,they're like no way will map sensor put car in limp mode , 2 full day at the dealership three different dealer mechanics went to go pick up the car they said it's all fixed I'm like a test drove it they're like umm , drove off the dealership within 3 mi it went into limp mode lol , Went back raised hell cuz I paid over $300 in extensive diagnostic as they called it, Went home but the factory map sensor back in and never had a problem again
"Pretty simple job, engine out engine in"!!! Yeah right. Pretty major job for most of the rest of us! 😂

12:59 400 mega amp fuse is a properly serious one. :)
The pops, bangs and splutter .. Music to my ears
Regarding the wheel hop. May be worth getting the tracking set. Especially because you’ve had the whole suspension off.

@@robertverhey Also a feature on the Porsche 981 / 991. Different tyres help as well
It's literally only on full lock - it's irrelevant.
@@Malc180s it's actually surprisingly invasive around town when reverse parking or manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Lovely car, great job Dean. Keep up the good work pal.
Nice man just discovered your channel in this week watched half the videos just love the videos keep it up man

I love this channel, recently discovered it true MA, been loving the content and appreciate the hustle! 🙏🏻
superb - loved watching the rebuild on this one :)
Solid day out Jag ! Supercharged.
For any flooded cars you need to service the trans oil and filter before driving
The 'Ackerman effect' is a pain, I have a 911 Carrera S (2wd) that does it all the time, forward or reverse on anything approaching full lock.
From Mat to Salvage RSA in here🌪️😊
Superb work as always. 👍👍👍👍
Awesome work salute from South Africa🎉🎉🎉
PDR guy might have been able to sort out the edge of the bonnet to take your eye off the worst of the damage.
Another awesome job Dean! 🎉🎉🎉

Did you make Bakewell, inc. Tarts ?
Will you deliver it on your trailer when i win it tonight 😉 😜 fingers crossed someone getting a stunning car hopefully me lol
Could have repaired the bonnet to finish it off completely, spoils the front shot of the car.
Yeah I will be! Couldn’t repair it in time though 🙌🏼
Is that Bonnet damaged at the front edge ?
Yes I’d say and The shut lines are generally a bit off in that area
Looks like it
Lookslike it. Anyone who wants to see it, watch the video between 12.32-41
Yeah, he actually pointed it out on the first video.
Yeah needs a repair. Quite frustrating as the previous owner said the car was immaculate when she handed it over to copart 🤦🏻♂️
Nice job
