I think what makes David Blaine so good is not just his magic but also his mysterious Demeanor. It always keeps you wondering.
I have said that for almost 20 years back when I used to watch his street magic. He used to really seem so creepy and mysterious with how he used to talk and just walk up to strangers. But it made it more scary and suspenseful. Now he has mastered his craft and knows whn to use it to cature the audience.

This guy is so poised, just so calm but yet so humble. He is by far our generations best magician in my opinion. His concepts and just his ability to come up with and study / practice these tricks as we call them are impeccable but yet so surreal. I've been watching him for years and years, I love when he goes to the hoods and inner cities and just wows people. I really hope, and wish I'm able to see one of his shows live in Vegas that would be amazing. Only if I could afford to go see that show, and if I got this speak with him I would ask him to take a walk to the casino with me lol with it disguise of course cuz he's banned if you remember back in the day how he was winning all types of money and stuff for people, this guy is amazing man this is the stuff that needs to be seen on TV by not only children but adults instead of this bullshit that we watch on TV a bunch of fake reality TV, this guy inspires people man he needs like a TV special of some sort or they should put his Vegas shows live on TV that would be amazing, and I may be all over the place right now cuz I'm speaking into the mic so it may be spelling my words wrong or rephrasing my sentences or it may seem like I'm all over the place I apologize. I've been a magician and in the magic community for over 7 years and can confirm he is in fact the best modern era magician. The only magicians who come close are maybe Penn&Teller.

See I like David Blaine as a magician because he's always so calm and collected about all of his tricks and yet he scares the ever living daylights out of people
He literally has the control of all the muscles of his body, this guy freaks me out but excites me at the same time.
Watch the nail eating trick at .25 speed. You can see he never eats the nails and only ends up keeping like 2-3 in his mouth which he tucks either between his teeth and cheeks or under his tongue. Also, watch his throat. He never swallows. Not saying this to discredit his amazing illusion just wanted to clarify that he doesn't actually consume any nails. David Blaine is the GOAT btw. 🧙♂️

Not sure if we will ever see a magician of the same caliber as David Blaine, they would literally have to devote their life to it as he has just to compete. Everyone expects a great stunt/trick when David shows up, so he always has to perform, and somehow he still manages to surprise everyone.
This trick uses camera to change the cards audience is holding if you look close around 1:32

Hundreds of little gnomes ran under everybody's seat and switched all their cards to the five of hearts. David blaine, the king of gnomes
One card is slightly a short one in each deck so when you cut the deck it always cut to a certain card. All five card in the chosen five are 5 of hearts. He forced Jimmy in choosing a card. Rest of it I Don't know 😂

@@jodaf1n_67 yes that exactly how I works. I do that trick all the time you can try it yourself if you have a deck just cut the edges of the card and place it inside the deck. Ask anyone to cut the deck they will cut it to exactly the shorter card. There are numerous ways to do it though this is one of the most easiest

Not only are lives lost but also priceless historical aviation relics that are very sparse and every time one goes down there are fewer. We need to rethink flying these so much and only trusting the most professional people to fly and ensure traffic safety. As I started watching this, I thought to myself, David Blaine is the last great magician / illusionist alive. He's been doing it for 25 years (maybe more, IDK), but he is the only one that I would go and watch live. He has truly dedicated himself to his craft, has constantly gotten better, and has sacrificed quite a bit to make his dreams come true. There isn't anyone alive like him.....he is unique.....I have a lot of respect for his dedication to his craft.....I just can't say enough about him. Instead of a residency in Vegas, I wish he would go on tour. I am not likely to go to Vegan any time soon, but I would 100000% drive a couple of hours to a larger city near me to watch him for an hour or two.

The eating nails part was good, I could immediately tell that he wasn't actually keeping ANY of the nails in his mouth, his timing of blocking his mouth with his hand and using his tongue to push them out was just a teeny bit off.
