Mac shades mostly gravitate towards warm/peachy undertones and NC 40 is rather more peachy than yellow on me…
I would mix it with a neutral shade as I have neutral undertone in 2:1 ratio ( 2 drops of neutral foundation against one drop of NC 40 )
You can mix it as per your undertone…

Try smashbox always on gel liner, you can get the mini size too, it is smudge proof and intense black or Plum Kajal…

NC 37 is a lighter shade and NC 40 is rather peachy !!
NC 35 has slight yellow, it is good for medium skin with slight yellow undertone or neutral undertone too…

No it’s not, it turns peachy on my skin after oxidising.
I find NC 35 to be closer to my skin tone…

I tried the nc38 and it is still a bit golden shade for me..I will need to try nc37

Why not !! I always mix the shades….when I get a darker shade, I mix it with a lighter one to see if works for me….
Nc 40 is on the yellow side and NC 37 is pale so may be you ll get the right amount of yellow for ur skin 😁

Same, which is why I switched to nc37… I cannot suggest you a shade without seeing you babe….you need to visit a store and get it tested on your face once….

Yes, it is slightly on the cooler side, I have recently tried NC35 and turns out it is a good match for me as it has more yellow in it, a video on NC35 vs NC37 is already up on my channel. 😊
I think u r NC40
I have used NC 40 too but since this foundation oxidises after applying, it turns a little yellow on my skin…which I can make work too but NC 37 suits better in that sense…

No, it turns orange later on. Maybe try 38 or mix 37 and 40.
