After the filming, one of the buses used was brought to England and was in 1970 parked in an old Coal yard next to the Chertsey Railway station in Surrey, it was owned by TLO film services I was told.

I was led here by a comment that said the bus was a 1952 Steyr, which did not exist during the war. It does, however, look remarkably similar to a pre-war Vomag, which it was probably intended to imitate. I have a model of the Vomag, in the same colours, although it has three axles.
