Take a ride yourself on Big Thunder Mountain, uploaded on Steam Workshop: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3334478370 Some people felt that the ride is too slow. It's subjective so feel free to lower the friction setting on the station to your liking.
People don't realize how slow these rides actually are. Like the topspeed of most Disney fast rides is only around 25-30mph, it just feels really fast when you're riding it irl. This may be a bit slower just due to Planet Coaster limitations, but I assume not by much.
Yes, i tried using a 5th car but it makes the station just too long and colliding with the queue. Also it looks comicly long on the track and the end of the lifthill. Thanks.
How did you make the track so accurately? Did you just recreate it from videos and pictures or were you able to find an actual layout of the track? This seems like a difficult one to recreate because of how much it interweaves with itself in such close quarters.
Back then I used only rulers, aerial images and POVs to build this ride. It worked quite well. From today's perspective I would use a blueprint though. But back then the billboards weren't a thing.
Unfortunately that’s just down to the game’s physics, hope they improve that in the second one, I definitely remember struggling to make realistic coasters due to lack of speed

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is not only my favorite ride at Disneyland, but also my all time favorite roller coaster!
i like this recreation. think its one of the best in the games.
Fantastic reconstruction!
that shot of smock at the start, you could kill someone with it xDDD
I take it there wasn't room in the station for the 5th car. Fantastic job none the less!

Amazing work! You really nailed it
Always wanted to ride this as a kid, but once I rode it as an adult I was not impressed and highly disappointed.
Sorry to hear. What disappointed you or let you down?
1.5 speed is good as real experience. (Also great job )

looks great but runs so much slower than the real one does

@@AsrielDreemurr56 yea to be clear this is a planet coaster issue not construction issue
I think it’s because you guys are used to the back row, this is the front row.
