Really enjoyed watching this Q&A !!!! I was pregnant with my son at the time and had to be especially careful during the pandemic 😷 Here it is just about three years later, and the 30th anniversary of A Goofy Movie is approaching 😀 I was a teenager when A Goofy movie came out in theaters, same age as Max. (Yes, did have a crush on him). Max and Roxanne storyline struck me as a teenager. Gleamed with cute young love story, as generally minimal it was to the premise of the movie. However, fans loved it and still do love those characters in hopes to bring them back. My vision would be to have a series as Max is an adult taking place the events after twice upon a Christmas. How great would it be to see the dimensions of watching the romantic relationship of Max and Roxanne and Max and Goofy’s father son relationship continue to develope while other Goof Troop characters make a comeback. I was in aww when Bill and Jason talked about Goofy becoming a grandfather and Max becoming a dad, dreaming of a vision that will one day come into production. It is interesting to me now as a mom seeing A Goofy movie from a parental angle . It was disappointing how Max talked to his dad at times. Thankfully, without using four letter words. I hope as a parent what I’ve learned from the Goofy movie is to be in constant communication and listening to one another that would hopefully prevent ending up on a waterfall (figuratively speaking).
Glad to see Max's laugh being brought up, because orginally I thought they added in Bill's laugh whenever Max needed to laugh to make that connection to Goofy, but to know that Jason himself is doing the laugh makes it even better.
