Do you prefer to use Matte royal icing over shiny? I really love the look of matte but I guess if I'd be making ornaments of bulbs then maybe I'd do shiny or sparkly.
@@littlesistercookie yes edible gold and silver looks great I just meant for the texture of the flood some bakers add cornsyrup to give it a sheen look. As I get older I really love the look of matte it's not something I'm really used to seeing on cookies. To me it seems like more bakers gravitate towards the matte. I guess it's a preference choice. I haven't gotten all my supplies yet so I'm still deciding.
