I had one of these. This is a 250m with fork gaiters added. These were standard on the earlier 250 K and L models but not on the M model. Sounding like a nerd I know but the 70's was a great time to be a biker.
Owned a 76,same paint job! Suzuki 2 strokes always had the double BS factor!! One was the "ram air system" : meant nothing! The other was the Barry Sheene factor: meant everything!!
My first bike. Picked it up on FA Cup Final Day 1975. JAO 245 N (Carlisle, Cumbria). £499. Loved it, especially when I swapped the rock-hard Bridgestones for Avons.
Stunning bikes suzuki two strokes were and are still are the best ever gt 750 water cooled best bike i ever had sold my kawie z1a good bike to buy gt750 suzi water cooled i have suzui t500j now me 66years old wish i had my gt750 suzui stunning looking
It just look every inch “the proper bike”. Of course I’m biased but that era of 250’s were the most beautiful bikes on the planet (and I’ve had a variety since then). The two strokes, GT250, RD250 and KH250 were the best trailed by the rather insipid but high revving CB250G5...
G5 " insipid " ?? I had a G5 and it was a beautiful bike to look at and ride , it wasn't as fast as the 2 strokes but that didn't bother me as I was never the " boy racer " type anyway . Don't knock it until you've tried it .......
This was my first bike, loved the big tank and old school feel.

In my opinion Suzuki absolutely perfected the 2 stroke engine ,reliable, efficient and smooth.
