- Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson sat down with Sean Hannity tonight, and right off the bat they jumped right into ISIS. And Robertson shared his thoughts on how to deal with the terrorist group: “either convert them or kill them.”

The bible says specifically "Thou shalt not kill" "Love your neighbor as you love yourself", "Love your enemy". I believe in Jesus. He has changed me for the better. We are not given the authority to kill anyone. Only God has that right. People are not perfect, but blessed are those who are selfless. I hope I would have the balls to lay down my life in the hope that another human might see perfect love.

No all 3 are Abrahamic faiths the Torah was used in the Bible as the old testament and the Qur'an has many references to events in the Qur'an all 3 major Abrahamic faiths stem from the same basic beliefs outlined in the Torah. Think of the Torah as the cornerstone for all 3 of the faiths just under different names in the other two.

I'm a christian and agree with Phil for the most part, I think what he was trying to say is because isis is a threat we should not wait for another 9/11 attack to happen, or stand by while innocent people are dying. America and other countries helped to create ISIS and should play a part in dealing with the issue

Why are all you people, who are against Mr. Robertson, so hard headed and not listening to what Phil fully said? He wishes that he could have a heart to heart conversation with these people and hopefully they will see their sin and repent and trust in Jesus Christ. But since they only want to attack him he is willing to fight back. He is not saying if they do not convert to Christianity he will kill them. Conversion or execution is the Islamic/Muslim religion and not Christianity.

Look at the statistics of any military action, any nation, any point in recent or distant history. Civilian casualties will always occur. If there is a refusal to engage in combat activity due to possibility of civilian casualty; well, that's one way to stop any military action.

1.5 million civilian casualties, (estimated), in Soviet-Afghan war.
600,000 civilian casualties Spanish Civil War.
485,000 civilian casualties Abyssian Conquest.
250,000 civilain casualties Sudan.
150-300,00 civilian casualties Uganda under Idi Amin.
100,000 civilian casualties Iran-Iraq war.
The point you miss is that war is death to all in its path, irrevocably, unavoidably. The only option that will avoid civilian casualties is non-military settlement. But that stands in stark opposition to in-group and confirmation biases and basic genetic programming.

ISIS or ISIL is going home by home building by building and taking people out of their homes and killing the men, and telling the women to convert or be killed, raped, sold into slavery, young little girls 10 years old and up being raped and sold, people fleeing are being tracked down, look on Ytube there are picture of pickup trucks full of men’s heads, ISIS/ISIL is taking people who say they are Christians putting them on crosses and crucifying them, pits with people being marched in, and buried alive, stakes with the heads of young boys litter the streets.
Phil’s comments were to those committing these barbaric acts, not the casualties of these things; things that have not been seen in the world for close to 1300 years on this level, what many of us call evil. To those committing these barbaric acts, Phil was not totally given up on (only a Christian would hold out to the last on the salvation of a person) that they can change from doing this crap, and if they won’t, theses fighters rapists and murderers, those killing and doing all these evil things, them put them to the sword, kill them all. Do you see the difference, is wisdom knocking at your door, yet?

Phil is right dude. That is the definition of war. Surrender or die. If I point a gun at you and you don't point back, if I shoot and you don't, you will be killed and I will live. your mentality is wrong unless you want to be the casualty. Secondly, you make mistakes in your thinking because you use before the problem to justify doing nothing in the presence of trouble. Consider the data not the emotional ingredients alone. People love to take what the bible says out of context, and what Christians say out of context. Christian citizens are called to love all human life. It is our duty, under the will of almighty GOD, to pray for those who wish to do us harm, so that they may be convicted by the Holy Spirit, and see that they are doing unrighteous deeds in the sight of GOD by doing bad things to GOD's people.
It is the duty of the government of any country of people who serve GOD, to protect the people within that country by cleasing the enemy of all non-believers of GOD. Since all these people in ISIS are non-believers of GOD, then they must either convert, or be killed. That's not Phil's fault that that's what GOD's word says. I think the ways of a Godless world has inherently confused the secular world into thinking it has a problem with Phil Robertson. What the secular world has a problem with, is GOD. Of the 55 people that wrote the Declaration of Independence, 52 were active members of their church. These men believed that you couldn't call yourself an American, if you subvert the word of GOD. Be careful what you say about GOD...remember Sodom and Gamorrah? It can just as easily happen here, as well.
