In AC2 and AA, I always felt bad for the little vehicles I was chasing. They are so tiny, slow and harmless and have no choice but to completely ignore you. The drivers inside have got to be terrified
03:47:40 This mission always made me laugh. I love the idea of these 3 mech menacingly scheming in some random desert, and Pit Viper apparently being Sean Connery :D I appreciate your well-made, detailed playthrough of this game. I loved playing it growing up. The vertical missiles were my jam!
the menu/UI and SFX are imo the peak of the ps2 and the series as a whole. This game has very deep roots in my mind. If anyone is here looking for inspo, I'm pretty sure the main synth is a Korg MS2000. Please correct me if I'm wrong
I remember trying to recreate that red mech from the intro because I thought it was so bad ass...then me and my sister would fight in multiplayer and get really pissed off at each other because we would get so invested in our mechs being the coolest lol
Godamn amazing video. I love this and it was probably my fave in the series. Silent Line is close tho. Those sound effects are classic and give me tons of nostalgia.
Thanks for all the entertaining AC game playthroughs, I've been watching through all of them lately. Wish you had more AC build variety in the earlier playthroughs like this one but it's still fun to watch
If you boost up in the air just before you stop boosting your ac will keep moving like normal without the hard braking which leaves you vulnerable every time haha. And a soft landing prevents your ac from kneeling when you are falling from a great height also leaving you vulnerable
As someone who played Project Phantasma, Armored Core 1, and Master of Arena, the mission at 3:21:23 triggered PTSD when I saw the enemy AC and heard the music.
I'm watching this in HD thinking "Holy shit this looks a million times better than armored core 1. people playing back when this first came out must have thought this was an amazing leap in techology" but yeah they weren't watching in 1080p 60fps lol
It didn't play Armored Core back then, but the jump from Playstation 1 to Playstation 2 was absolutely mind-blowing. We couldn't believe how great the new graphics were and thought they were nearly photo-realistic xD
Sad fact - the PAL version didn't have a 'convert AC2 data' option - you couldn't get Human Plus abilities at all. Bit of a downer, considering Zaltehook + various others had the upgrades.
I just realized, the default rifle / enemy cannon sound seems to be the same sound effect as Pulse Lasers in Mechwarrior 2. Difference is the degree of audio compression.
No commentary, I love it. It's nice to not have a picture-in-picture of the player's facial expressions. I'm getting tired of that. All playthrough videos should be like this one.
Most likely, you're not going to complete every mission on your first attempt and will have to experiment with parts. I spent around 30 hours collecting the footage for this.
It ain't just you. Ac2 AA starts off pleasant but very quickly has a difficulty that goes absolutely off the rails. I have beaten it once, and as much fun as I had with the game I hesitate to go back to it again.
HUGE favor... does anyone know what song is playing during 2:29:21 Attack the Terrorists? I've gone through the OST online and can't find it anywhere. I really want to sample the opening part with the piano.
lol at 39:15 when the AC is riding the elevator and its taking forever, and the core just sways back and forth. Gotta stay loose before wreaking havoc on targets!!
yo just started paying this game for the first time, Idk what i did wrong but I didn't get the napalm missile launcher after probing Belana's Defences. I stayed until third dialogue prompt. Anybody know what I did wrong?
YOU CAN IMPORT YOUR AC FROM THE BASE GAME?! *AYO!!* 🤩 _Also, you canNOT convince me that's not Captain Janeway giving the briefing on that first mission. _*_(oh this bolds poorly...)_*
@@LookBackGaming You never know what's possible with Human PLUS. Besides, Future Tech could mean the lifespan of a human may be up to 3-5 times normal. If you're rich and powerful enough...

Man the first 3 games in the series show such an unbelievably impressive jump in technology

This Armored Core Game is the very best with the new parts and a special vs mode and new maps including the official Armored Core 2 maps.
No arena. Failed AC game.
@@tonysoprano4587 thats the only thing i hate about Ac2aa no arena
@@kakyoin5713 to be fair, weren’t most ravens destroyed or out of nerves concord following the consequences of AC2?

Thanks for being so detailed - and for showing the equipment swaps. Great video
I also remember at some point after beating the main story it allowed you to use human plus, and also removes the weight Limit.

I started playing Armored Core 2 on the OG PS2. Blasting throug the Arena right now after doing Human Plus.
How do you do that again? Go negative 50k in a mission right?

the last two hours are extreme tests of your sanity, just difficult missions in every way possible

This was my first AC game that I owned. I had rented 2, but bought this one later. I still own everything except Project Phantasm at this point.
You sold the karasawa?! My heart, My Soul 😢 Btw love your AC videos!

i have this game in english and plane to do in the air no so much far but have beautiful heads in the start of Armored core another age
Nothing beats those 2000's techie menu selection sounds.
3:43:30 I probably spent 5 hours trying to beat this mission. Never could. Never beat A2AA because of it.
LOL you and me both
I never really noticed how Heavens Blaze attempts to keep her distance. while Pit Viper and Pendulum do all the work.
The targets have increased their speed.
AC doing 350/mph🙄
I was rooting for the LCC to take it to the corporations. But of course the LCC sucks

God no commentary is a godsend nowadays especially.
amazing work
My copy just got here today is this game really five hours long
Most likely, you're not going to complete every mission on your first attempt and will have to experiment with parts. I spent around 30 hours collecting the footage for this.
I don't know if it's me, but this is the hardest Armored Core game i have played, next to nexus and last raven

If you didn't figure it out already, you need to also finish the mission with a 100k after expenses reward.

3:20:21 Why do I heard Boss music Armored Core version
Sick ass graphics
is this supposed to be the same character from 2 story wise?
I don't think there's a clear answer. I think it's unlikely given the time difference. Not that the story is really there, anyway.
