I like the Dragonfly a lot but the compression lock and better scale options with the Lil’ Native make it a tempting alternative. They have a slip joint version too!
That's an awesome set of scales. If you decide you want a diff clip, Lynch Northwest came out with a Dark Abyss finish that you might like with um. 👍👍🔪
I never did understand why the large (shaman) and small (lil native) versions have compression locks, but the one in the middle (native 5) does not. Who knows 🤷♂️
Those scales look incredible. Got my lil natives in the mail yesterday. Such a sweet deal on the 20 CV. Got one for my grandpa and one for myself, and RGT scales for both.
Have a few . The c/f s90v. And an all black and a slip-it. Just to small for me. The Native 5 is my favorite along with Native Chief. Oh! Just got a Manix 2 lw salt👍🏻 love the yellow. Have a bunch of cpm20cv . Haven’t used it yet….✌🏼happy new year buddy

Some people really like the g10. And some people don’t like titanium, they prefer micarta or aluminum or whatever. I think starting with g10 is a good idea because it keeps the price down, you can get an awesome knife with awesome steel for a good price and if you wanna upgrade the scales later when you can afford it, you can
Hi there, lovely scales! - I work in rehab and you may be able to get may be able to get further follow up on the finger to get things sorted like some sort of a tendon repair. Worth a look! Can follow up with a physician for further input and hopefully get some hand therapy afterwards - Cheers!
I wish they had a full size native with a compression lock. The lil native is just too small for my hands. The lockback native (with AWT scales) is my favorite “small” knife followed closely by the chaparral.

Not as of right now, but a place called OGgoat.com is in the process of making aluminum replacement scales for it. In the meantime, you can dye them if you want!
Nice scales swap. Sticking with the Dragonfly K390 on the small side of Spyderco line-up. I find this Lil Native too chubby with the big G10 pieces, my taste, but so much better with the metallic handles. I hope these kinda scales, AWT, Original Goat, and these ones will reach Europe someday, especially for the lightweight Spydercos (para 3 or native) i would tune a little bit to upgrade them.
Got the Wharny version hold. Coincidentally, it is also coming with RGT Ti scales. Different milling pattern, but man that is one knife that jumps several levels with that simple upgrade. Thanks for sharing!

Those scales are sweet. I’m not usually a wire clip guy, but on that blade with those scales I think it’s perfect. I do dig that LNW clip on the dark stonewash though. Just a heads up, I think Pfizer makes a little blue pill that will fix that finger that won’t straighten out all the way😉😂

Love the knife. I had the same thing on my left index finger. Its called trigger finger and it's treatable with small quick surgery.

Blue medium yeah, and the kind that comes in like a glue stick form.
I use Tuff-Glide or KPL for lube
Put your finger in a splint and it should heal up on its own. It’s commonly called Mallet finger.
That’s what my mom told me, but it’s really difficult leaving it in a splint at work
