    Believe it or not, but the video itself actually took more than a month to make, with 3 days of filming, 6 days of editing and weeks of preparing.
    These videos take time, so thank you for watching!

    Hello everybody!
    I made a new robot, and this time I made a self driving car!
    Do you have any ideas for what i can make?

    Hi greetings from denmark. Now im kinda interested in seeing how fast you can make to it avoid obstacles becuase it seems like there is a lot of waiting time for it to process all this stuff which makes it seems to run a bit slow. What would be fun would be a circular race track with a hence to see how fast it can detect the hence while still upping the speed in each lap. If that succeeds you can then make a racetrack with tires on the road to see how fast i would be able to avoid them. Now im no expert in coding neither do i know about the limitations of lego technic interms of processing speeds. But would be cool to see a experiment with this. Cool you made this in a month. My idea is juast a wish and i dont expect you to do a video on it but it would be a nice little version 2 of this project. But i wish you a merry christmas even though its not christmas eve yet. Thanks for the nice edit in this video too.

      Hi! Thank you for your comment! The moments where the car is waiting, it is actually playing a sound that I left out in the editing, because it didn't sound to great. In hence sight, I should have left the sound out in the programming, since it would make it a lot faster! The only problem I had with speed is the physical speed it can go. I had only one motor left for driving and I had to gear it down massively to make the car move, as it is really heavy. I think I may build a new V2 in the future actually! Thank you for your comment and have a great day!

    that is soooo cool! you could turn this also into an autonomous vacuum cleaner, that cleans every spot in a closed area. maybe it could also wipe the floor before that! would be great to see! greetings from germany :D

      I've thought about it and if I'm going to make the vacuum cleaner, I'm going to build a completely new robot, as modifying a car to be a vacuum cleaner is probably even more difficult! Greetings from Germany right now actually!

      @raphi01 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CreativeMindstorms cool! You're right, modifying the car woud be very difficult. Btw, idk if you remember when i wrote to you about one month ago, the 3D printer that i wanted to built from lego is almost finished, it's just some more software tuning to do. I will send you a video via mail when it's finished, have a nice night!

      I unfortunately haven't made any instructions on how to build this car, but I think I could send you the code if you want.
      Probably next week, I will upload a new video about an even better self-driving car and this video contains a little more explanation about the building process.
