You didn’t have enough air in the picture that is why only one side could flow at a time. It’s a complex mix of air and soapy water but once you master the mix it’s such a satisfying and relaxing thing to play with. I added some magnetic sand, mini cars and put mini magnets on the bottom of them, and got my son a pencil sized magnet and he loves moving the magnetic sand and cars around. He is high functioning autistic so it’s a great thing for him to keep on his night stand to play with before bedtime to relax and mellow him down.

Yes, you can use an extended butterfly needle to add/remove air/water. Be careful not to add to much air/water or it can make the glass crack and if you don’t add enough it will make your sand mix ugly and you will ruin it. KB sand art has videos on how to do this without messing up your sand art. Another thing I added for my son was a bit of magnetic sand and bought him a mini stick pen magnet, bought mini cars and put mini magnets on the bottom of the cars, and it keeps him entertained for quite some time, without the mess of him getting muddy/dirty or bringing the mess in the house. He’s 12yo and is high functioning autistic so it’s a great stem time and helps relax him before bedtime.

I used the sand used for the hourglass. I recommend you to search for the hourglass DIY and buy sand.
I've never made one but the one I bought has silicone over the hole so you can use a syringe to add or remove air as needed

Glitter is a little light, so I recommend mixing it with sand.
아크릴 붙일때 접착제 어디써 몇번거로 쓰셨어요? 전 그냥 다이소 순간접착제 했는데 뿌얘요..ㅜㅜ왤까요
오래전이라 기억이 가물한데,, 영상을 다시 보니 접착제 사용한거 맞아요~ 최대한 조심스럽게 그 부분에만 바른것 같아요. 뿌옇게 되는 부분은 면봉에 아세톤을 묻혀서 지워보세요(직접 해보진 않았지만 순간접착제 지울때 쓰는 방법이래요)
