Thank you Brendan! Not been able to do any more reviews this week, just walk around videos. Pesky winter weather!! Thanks for the positive feedback though. Stephen
They're ageing so well aren't they. Always been one of my favourite looking M3s, but there is just something about the high revving S65 in the E90 that still leaves me blown away.
Why did you say you haven't used the sport mode? Go on a track, turn off the DSC and put it in sport mode. and turn it loose. It really is the best way to appreciate the SMG. It's like having a Stallion and never let it do what it was bread for..... I have had mine for almost 20 years and even my mechanic says you have to open it up once in a while...
I use to drive an M3 CSL, so totally get turning dsc off and engaging the final setting on the SMG. Sports mode makes the throttle to sensitive for me.
Those side vents are an homage to the 3.0CS and this is the car that provoked autoparts stores to start selling the aftermarket rubbish that people glue to their cars
The SMG knob, the SMG ring at the base of the knob and the paddles are all by Storm Motorwerks. Have the same on mine and they’re a fortune, top quality and a big improvement over the originals.
Definitely feel like many have still missed the boat picking up a really good one for reasonable money. These were dirt cheap for a while, not any more
Ive had a couple of the years including a silverstone edition smg. I then moved to the e92 and had a couple of them including the LE500 Santorini blue. I moved to an f80 m4 competition and didn’t like it, now back in an e93 m3 dct. Paid cash for it (lowest price in the uk at the time) and spending a fortune doing it up, its getting there and looking good and mechanically sound. Great review and you seem genuinely enthusiastic and not just about sales. When are you doing the e92 review? I see you had a nice white one in the back ground which you referred to a couple of times 😊
Thanks Andy! The reviews aren't for selling, just sharing what each cars like to drive. Reviews have taken a bit of a back seat at the moment as the weather has been god awful this last few months. Not ideal for taking an M3 out for a proper drive anyway, thats for sure. The white one is gone. We did have an E92 Monte Carlo with 11k miles which I was hoping to review, but it sold yesterday. Next M car on the list is likely going to me the Z4M we have, if the weather cheers up and its still here. The F80 is a car I've never really bonded with either. Incredibly quick, but just never really felt comfortable with it. I preferred an OG M2 DCT. Sounds like you've for a bit of a project on your hands with the E93, good luck with it! Hope it all works out good 👍 Stephen
I actually like the m2, ive only ever driven one in the past it was a nice car and maybe one for the bucket list next 🤷♂️.. I will look forward to the Z4M review, keep up the good work 😊
Owned one for ten years and your review brought me back. They beg to be used. Great cars and a good honest review. Keep up the good work!

Loved this mate. They are just lovely cars. Thanks for the review. ATB - Simon
You're very welcome mate! Glad you enjoy it 👍
E46 M3 is my favourite car …. Enjoyed This I did ❤

Great review, lovely car. So blessed to have one, 2001 black SMG with 55k 🖤 get one while you can!
Thanks Jordan! Lovely sounding car with 55k miles. Definitely! Low mileage cars are quickly running out!
Had one for 10 years.got m4 now .the e46 can handle the back roads hands down😅
Do you not think the M4 is a total hooligan of a car compared to the E46? Both great, but the M4 is a proper handful!
@JamesGlenCarSales1982 yes it's a handful.idont trust it on backroads so I hold back .felt more comfortable hamering e46.

Thought I'd seen them feature some where before! They suit the 3.0CS so much more. Still, a small gripe, on an otherwise lovely platform .
@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 fair enough, to each their own, they're one of my favorite parts of the car!

The did feel beautifully crafted!

They'll never come back down again either. Great way to put some money away and enjoy it at the same time.
That car is beautiful!
Gorgeous isn't it!!

Great cars the M2, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Thanks! Hope to get the chance to be back out doing road tests soon.
Nice video review of a cracking car shame it’s not a manual ,
Thanks Bobby.
Has that been resprayed? Strut towers and bonnet rails look steel grey rather than mystic blue
Hi Grant, no it didn't have a colour change.
83k miles and it sounds like it just rolled out the factory !
And it drove like it too. What a model.
Finally. Now I see my car from a perspective of the birds in my neighborhood.
You're welcome :)
Nice M3, but I’d take the white e92 M3 in your showroom!
We have had a few nice E92s over the last few years. Have you seen the latest one? Monte Carlo with 11k miles. Its incredible!
Wish a didn't have the rover ad go up get that corsa bumper need some plastic 🤣
Well Spotted!! I even noticed it was from a Corsa too. Not sure if the wooden chairs are from the same model lol
is this for sale
Hi Buddy, yeah it was some time ago.
Is that Topaz blue?
Hi John, its mystic blue
