Buying a $99 thin ass case is on the consumer side issue for falling for that. Who in their right mind thinks it’s logical to buy that in the first place? Only fools.
I had this same problem with their leather case last year. I brought the case back, they brought 2 out, one was also bad just a different corner the other was perfect. The sales person was absolutely shocked at the issue. So disappointing that these products are supposed to perfect or as close to as possible. Quality really is diminishing.
The 15 lineup as proved itself to be diminished in quality.. intended to move back to the Google pixel and Chromebook line.. the quality is just really crap for expensive products
Casetify also, they charge an arm and a leg for a phone case more than apple. Absurd, I bought a $7 Jetech case on Amazon and Screen protector from the same company and zero problems with either still going strong. About 9 months of use
I saw a ton of these cases at Marshalls yesterday. I thought they were knock offs but I looked into it and they were original Apple cases and yes they had this weird fitment also had some leather genuine Apple cases for like $17.
I had the Apple fine woven case, and the lip around the screen from the case was very high, and I also noticed the USB-C cutout was misaligned meaning the charging port was not centered. I sent it back.
pro max, silicone Storm Blue, no such issue. I'm actually liking these cases, I had one last year and it was horrid for picking up oils from skin and looking bad, this one doesn't seem to suffer from it.
I got the clay pro max case silicon case and nothing wrong with it except it’s a bit slippery. I had leather last year and I will not be getting their fabric or plastic cases
I actually got a product red for my Ip13pro like a month ago, and it had the same problem. I returned it and the one that shipped after that had no problems at all.
Hi. Good review. I done see the imperfections you mentioned. I have a stone silicone case, but don’t see any of the ones you mentioned, is there another way to check for those issues?? Thanks.
I've got the dark blue silicon for 15PM, had a small chunk of the soft silicon come off when removing the case on the first day and got it replaced, but neither have the problem of the glass sitting proud of the case, and thats with a card also stuffed inside the case
I don’t see anything.. but I bought the guava colored case and the top and bottom turned black within 12 hours like on the back of the phone. I didn’t put it in my pockets and I was careful with the phone all day. I’ve never had this happen with any of their silicone cases. I actually exchange the case at the Apple Store for a brand new one, and it happened to that case too.
seems like a defect that slid through quality control . just get another one lol i have the same color and it’s perfectly fine , it’s a little curved upwards at the end corners . i just popped it out of the case and the smudge marks that couldn’t be cleaned out were gone
Yea, I got apple silicon case. After watching your video and inspection of my case from different angles I can confirm that I see none of the issues that you are talking about.
I just bought one yesterday and it doesn’t have this issue. I bought mine in Thailand though and only got it because of a gift card… 😅normally I find a better cheaper case online
I’m not being paid for this.. but do yourselves a favour and buy Spigen cases. Don’t ask questions, just do it. 20+ phones. 50+ cases, never had a single issues, with any single one of them. $12-$25 USD average price, so less than half of Apples least expensive, and a $15 case lasts you 5+ years without ever letting you down on protection. I used my iPhone X for 3 years straight, then my grandma took it and still uses it to this day in that case. Fits like a glove, remarkable protection, for $12 USD.
i got one of their cases for my first iphone, and honestly I think there are better cases out there in terms of comfortably, drop protection, and looks. you got rihno shield's bumper case, castify for customization, and apple's leather case for comfort. There is nothing better imo than the apple >leather< case for comfort.
Dude, I bought one and the vol up button was not clicking like usual, it bothered me so much I was convinced someone put fake cases in the Apple Store. I ended up looking at old cases and trying to compare and figure out why my button didn’t have the click feeling. The down and power where fine, eventually I decided to rip off the cover on the inside of the case that hides the buttons, I thought maybe it was misaligned, come to find out, IT WAS UPSIDE DOWN!! I put it back on the way I took it off trying to see if something was under it or what. It did the same thing, I decided to spin it around and boom, both buttons working like the should both clicking correctly.
Or maybe not... I said that because I spend the last few days researching and to tell you these silicone cases protect the phone from scratches, but not from Incidentally dropping it! And unfortunately no matter how carefully we treat the phones we can drip them for any reason in any moment. My final verdict - if you want to protect the phone get a case with shock absorbing materials like mous case and use strong screen protector too. For these booths you can watch his videos where he compare them and choose the proper one for you, but Definitely one silicone case do not protect your phone...
Apple’s quality has really gotten worse since the iPhone XS days. The fine woven cases are terrible, the clear case provides no protection, and now the silicone cases have poor QC. I would switch to Samsung but they don’t have an ecosystem like apple, and their tablets are worse too
Do people buy the apple one just because it has an apple on it? That’s a real question because it’s the only reason I can think of. There are other silicon cases that feel just as quality or better and also have more features for half the money. I’d rather have the esr with the stand on the camera ring any day. Feels so good in hand and has a raised lip around the screen so it protects better.
my 6k pro xdr display is starting to form dark spots... I think I'm done with apple products in general.. I'll probably still have an iphone ( with apple care ) because I'm locked into the watch.. but otherwise... I don't think it's worth it.
Funny you keep dogging the fine woven. Been working fabulously for me, feels good, doesn’t slip in my hands. But then again I’m not gouging my cases for videos.
Sorry but you’re really expecting a company to be 100% perfect all the time? No company can do that. There’s always mistakes or a bad batch, no matter if it’s a $1 million company or a $3 trillion company. All phone cases have been great for me, no issues at all - just because some cases are bad doesn’t mean their quality control has worsened, it’s most likely just a poor batch of silicon cases.
Apple is saving a quick buck here with this “environmentally friendly” move. They’re sacrificing quality with no regard of price for the customer. Very sad and glad I haven’t wasted my money on their accessories
Apple seems to be cutting corners these days.
hehe...i see what you did there.
And I’m not really sure why bring that they are a trillion dollar company 😮
They’ve been doing it for years now…
funny yet true 😂

The cases are perfect, why are your doing this for?😢
Unfortunately in the real world, mistakes are made sometimes.
Bought the fine woven case and see no issues with what I purchased. Also the case still looks like new. 👍
@@Crazy-77 then you’re delusional to 90% of fine woven reviews calling them trash that won’t hold up. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
apple really put the effort to make the worst and most expensive cases in the market. 😂

Looks like a silicon lottery issue 😅. Gerrit

Mine’s crazy, dropped several times now it’s cracked and the silicon has been pilling off
Extange it
My old one did that my new Red one doesn’t
U recon you could do some gaming accessories for the iPhone 15 pro such as coolers and game pads etc
I genuinely don’t see what you’re seeing in that case. Can you describe the issue?
The corner of the phone sits flush or even goes beyond the case edge. If it drops itll hit the phone screen rather than the case
then you wouldn’t watch the video 💁
Is it me or is anyone else not getting the MagSafe ding and color pop up for the peach color
I had the Apple fine woven case, and the lip around the screen from the case was very high, and I also noticed the USB-C cutout was misaligned meaning the charging port was not centered. I sent it back.
Just a phone protecting the case. 😂😂
I use a mous limitless because of your recommendation 😎
Bought one for my 15PM and the corners are fine for me
pro max, silicone Storm Blue, no such issue.
I'm actually liking these cases, I had one last year and it was horrid for picking up oils from skin and looking bad, this one doesn't seem to suffer from it.
I just bought 2 of these. What am I looking for?
I checked mine based off your video earlier in the week. I’m good though. Thanks for the information helpful!
I got the clay pro max case silicon case and nothing wrong with it except it’s a bit slippery. I had leather last year and I will not be getting their fabric or plastic cases
Always had that issue with the leather cases. Never have with the silicone
Got a bootleg one and it had the same problem
I actually got a product red for my Ip13pro like a month ago, and it had the same problem. I returned it and the one that shipped after that had no problems at all.
This happened on my release day 14 pro max silicone case too. Same corner.

I used to work at apple and these are the shortest lasting cases but you can get them replaced if you bring it in
yeah, mine is not perfectly fit at the bottom and i can see through charging hole cutout when looking at the screen
How’s the ESR Silicone case? The kickstand looks nifty
I don’t see anything.. but I bought the guava colored case and the top and bottom turned black within 12 hours like on the back of the phone. It happened to me with my 12 PM leather case.
As someone who buys cases based on your reviews… I’ve never purchased one of those for any iPhone I had.
Facts, I drop my iPhone 14 Pro Max at Disney and poor iPhone. Part of the stainless steel was chipped off 😢

My leather case was like that and dropped the corner that looked lower then other corners phone got damaged and that corner popped out
My 13 Pro Max’s leather case is like that. I’ve been on and off using it. That corner bother me
my 13 pro leather case has humps on 3/4 corners, its kinda weird but its not annoying to notice daily, sometime I forget that they're even there
Same but with the silicone case!
The work from home effect
I have good lip above the glass all the way around, if that is what you meant
Forget the corners, the case is more uncomfortable to hold than a bare 14 Pro Max! 😂
Yea, I got apple silicon case. After watching your video and inspection of my case from different angles I can confirm that I see none of the issues that you are talking about.
It is on sale in Philippines
I got one and it looks perfect
I just bought one yesterday and it doesn’t have this issue. I bought mine in Thailand though and only got it because of a gift card… 😅normally I find a better cheaper case online
my 12 pro max case has this, I'm guessing it's a manufacturing variance caused by the silicone cooling and contracting slightly after molding
I like the silicone much better than the fine woven
Yeah that has driven me away lately they have dropped the ball on a lot of the little things that they used to do right.

Yea did you all hear that Tim sold like half a million shares the other week 🤔
So the winter blue doesn’t have the issue i take it
i had the exact same issue i bought an iphone 13 pro silicone case and it didn't fit over one of the corners
Have you had a look at the bottom, at the aligned of the ports and speaker holes? 😉

Guava and winter blue don’t have issue thanks in advance
Apple silicone cases have had the corner issue for years. The corner will slip off from time to time.
Bought one for my Pro Max in Zypress Green and its fine
Bought one for the 15 pro max and no issues
No issues here for the 15 pro orange silicone
Am I the only one who doesn't see it?
i think that the edge sits flush with the screen or comes just short with the display, not protecting the screen.
Me looking at the case and seeing nothing wrong
is the same problem in 15 plus silicon case ?
Great question
Good thing it has a 1 year warranty.
Seems like just a QC issue
I’ve got a silicone case I bought from Amazon. Has the same problem yet Apple didn’t make the case.
Can someone actually explain what about corner is wrong I can’t see it from the video
I purchased an apple leather case for 14pm and things thing looks like 💩 and it’s only been 14 days
Esr silicone case > Apple
I got eh clear case and it has a fine lip and corner. Maybe the oranges are duds or maybe you got a bad one lol
QC has been worse since apple divided production between china and india instead of china only
No issue, blue silicone 15pm
No issues on 15 pro max for me
