Pudgy Pig appeared twice. He was an clay created enemy his first appearance by Finsters monster maker, the second appearace he was created from a real pet pig named Norman of Bulk and Skulls who in fact didn't really fight the Rangers but instead was in love with another pig that the Rangers had to turn back to his normal pig self.
I remember renting the food fight episode on vhs as a kid and thinking it was the funniest ever with this pudgy pig. As storylines go, he's actually come among the closest to defeating the rangers as not only did he eat all of their weapons, but really only got bested by Trini's clever tactic of feeding him spicy food. Never saw him at my Toys R Us, but recently noticed an Amazon listing so I'm very tempted. He was one of my favourite villains that I always wish we saw more of.
I can remember in kindergarten ( I was probably around 4 or 5 when this happened ) that one classmate who was into those fighting superhero stuff brought in a power rangers vhs that had this episode. I just remembered this was played during vhs time that day that Pudgy Pig scared the shit out of me big time. I was so scared that a teacher called me over that day and I was on her lap embracing her until the show was over. Since that day I was afraid of a power rangers vhs. Today I’m 34 years of age thank effing god the scared is gone and I’m still high functioning autistic.
I'm a big Power Rangers fan and I agree there should be something, anything, on the back of the box! I'd love to see trivia or a summary of appearances, but maybe Hasbro knows what an anal pedantic group PR fans are, so they just leave it blank so we can't say they got something wrong. Also, Pudgy Pig never ate the rangers, but he did eat their weapons!
