How about a person who read civil engineering but has a passion for music and hence worked with and consulted for music record labels both home and abroad in scouting exceptional talents, manage record labels, music and artist promotions, and branding. Does such a person qualify?
@@Oduwa-e7x you can’t apply with both engineering and music. You have to pick one because it is different endorsing bodies that deal with engineering and music. If he/she applies for engineering but their passion and experience is in music it will show because they don’t have a lot of experience in it. Studying civil engineering is not enough to get the visa. I hope this clarifies things.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Please I will like to know since your visa was based on performing poetry. Does it allow you to work in any other areas of art apart from poetry or even work in other careers different from arts? or is the visa restricted to the area of art that you applied for? Looking forward to your response. Thanks
Yes they allow other areas. It’s not limited to poetry. There are other arts areas. There’s even medicine science and technology. Architecture etc. Just check the gov uk website to check if your discipline is eligible
@AFMStories, please my question is are there restrictions on your visa to work around only poetry which you used in your application? Can you work in other areas of Arts or even other seperate fields from arts. Looking forward to your response. Thanks
@@preciousexplor you can work in other fields, the only caveat is in addition to any work you do, you need to earn in your field as well. So while i have a 9-5 in a totally different field, not arts at all, i still perform poetry from time to time and get paid for it.
@@THERESAOKOLO-c5w yes you can. You just need to demonstrate achievement in your field. Through things like publications in reputable medical journals, leadership roles, awards or accolades etc.
