Oi tell me if I’m reading way to hard into this but, in the last segment (with the clock) Henry, Ellie and Charles clocks move differently depending on their present I’ve characters perception of time. Henry’s clock moves forwards then rewinds (maybe in reference to how he experiences fails). Ellie’s clock moves normally at a steady pace forwards. Finally Charles’s clock is stuck on the time he died.
