This triple episode of "The New Detectives" is a fascinating watch for anyone interested in forensic science and crime investigation. It highlights the meticulous work of investigators who piece together the smallest clues to solve complex cases. A great reminder of how even the tiniest details can unravel the truth.
Gosh it's catching so many people from 30, 40 years ago. Some of the criminals already dead, which is a shame the families of victims don't get their days in court with them
Good to see police who take their role of protecting the public seriously and pursue justice for victims with impartiality and honesty. Above all, their fearlessness' for their own safety, given that psychopaths are vindictive and will be very upset at those who are putting them out of business permanently!
It’s sad that Sandra’s family cut ties with her over her getting back together with her abusive partner. That was when she most needed support, and to know that there was someone to go to if (when) things went south again.
My husband as a fisherman of many years, has told me several times that finding a fishing spot in Alabama isn’t that easy. Fishing holes are full of weeds and trash frequently. So, he started fishing in northern Floridian instead.
Last story about the woman who jumped or fell off the 2nd floor…as the detective said…women don’t want to be found naked with suicide! Remember the story of the stepmom who stripped naked, bound her hands & feet and hung herself off the balcony for EVERYONE to see…after her stepson accidentally died in her care! All while the uncle/brother to grieving father…was in the guest house when this suicide happened!! 🤔 yeah that one is fishy as hell!!!
He was probably a dick to that dog, that dog probably knew what a piece of trash he was. So I'm so glad the dog is the thing that helped get him convicted.
The first case, where the bodies of young men were found in the woods, seemed like a natural case for cadaver dogs. I wonder why they aren't used more often.
James Klindt was released from prison in 2004 and died in 2010 from a fall. He had been living with his aging parents and caring for them. He should have been in prison for life
Lots of complications came after Joyner's conviction in the Sandra Hernandez case. I still think he did it but there were issues with the investigation and exclusion of evidence of someone else who could have killed Hernandez.
I dont care how much money you offered me. There is no way in hell I would agree an offer by a stranger to be tied up to a tree in the woods for photographs.
Someone who knew her!! Close to home! The fact that the killer automatically locked the door is telling! Set up!! Put the hammer back in the tool box? Was the glass of the broken window inside the house? Did she have a boyfriend? If your with the police that’s a alibi isn’t it. Why did she feel she needed a RO against her husband? Too bad he didn’t think of his children. Now they have no parents
The selfishness of this individuals, not only they take an innocent life cause they can't accept a divorce but, at the end of the day they rob their own children of the right of growing up next to both parents
1st case in Hong kong using forensic to convict a murder was in the mid 70s. A young girl founded in a cardboard box. He served like 2 plus decades and was released.
I'm currently grilling in the backyard. Pondering about how good I have it and how things could've been done long ago. It's just a shame that I don't have any MAMMOTH MEAT.
How could the police get a warrant to search Joiners home without probable cause? And other cases there seems to be probable cause but police are told it's not and are not granted the warrant?
About Masey only getting 30yrs for murdering his wife.Other states for murder GET life without parole sounds about correct then add after 17yr they can be up for parole. Should be same in all counties don't you think.
What is up with “No music” ??? Turn down or off the sound & read the “cc”. LOL. The only background music I hate is when it sounds like a monk choir, making the sounds of gloom and doom, now that drives me crazy!
I don’t understand.........in almost the very first sentence, the narrator says this killer was “killing men”. The, about 2 minutes later, he says “how many more WOMEN will have to die......”???? I guess I’ll have to watch it and see which one! 🕊🙏♥️✝️🙋♀️🌹
Oh my God some more rest in peace.I don't think so.Nobody wants to be rest.Ed in peace when they should be walking on earth among the living camera and to those who lost their lives. You knew what you were getting into. There is nothing to become of drugs but jail Or death
I have no sympathy for no one in this situation. You knew that dealing in drugs would land you in jail? Or dead, I'm sick of people saying rest in peace. Who the hell wants to be resting in peace? And where the hell did that come from? If condolences are to be given which they are not in this case. Then that would be my statement not rest in peace
What does it matter to you whether someone says RIP? I've seen your same statement in another post saying since they were into drugs they deserved to die. That's a messed up statement
Special Agent Myers is strikingly good looking well spoken. A grade example of a young modern man. My artistic side saw it immediately & have to add his accent is captivating. 🦘

Good narrator.👍✨ Exellent police, forensic team effort as well.
Appreciate the old school detective work. Luckily DNA and forensics has come a long way in 35 years
Gosh it's catching so many people from 30, 40 years ago. Some of the criminals already dead, which is a shame the families of victims don't get their days in court with them
DNA and forensics arent even accurate alot of the time.
16:25 I've always had an appreciation for forensics.

Good programs watch whenever I can

Sometimes you just have to..😢
@@CollieneDawson-hw7bj yes, I’m not judging. Almost anything is clearer in hindsight or from outside the situation. It’s still very sad.
I really enjoyed Watching true crime investigations
Such ingenious police work in the 3rd case.
Thanks ND! Enjoy the uploads even tho I’ve seen many! 👍🤗
LATE VIEWER FROM PHILIPPINES
Love this stuff - so very interesting an such vital work. P.S. Mr. Rent-a-Wife is icky
Hello
Your show is the best show, that I see every day, I enjoy all of your episodes .
😊

thats not necessarily true, though. you cant make such broad generalizations about all women who take their own life
He was probably a dick to that dog, that dog probably knew what a piece of trash he was. So I'm so glad the dog is the thing that helped get him convicted.
I know right !! That police effort to groom all dogs was also something 👍🏻
@@monicaoemardiLIFE don't forget free tires
Such good detective work. I wish they had the money, time, manpower, and patience for every single murder case
Annoying music.😢
But very good program moreover!❤
The investigators are awesome!😊
Why did Tim Massey only get 30 yrs for murdering his wife and leaving their twin boys motherless?
only 30? lol
The first case, where the bodies of young men were found in the woods, seemed like a natural case for cadaver dogs. I wonder why they aren't used more often.
The fact he put her in the truck of our car and dump her body like she was trash makes me sick
This is old story and I am wondering since 1987 nothing happened, they did a great job 👏
Mail order matrimony - it’s a dicey situation all the way around.
James Klindt was released from prison in 2004 and died in 2010 from a fall. He had been living with his aging parents and caring for them. He should have been in prison for life
Agreed. He should never have had that freedom
is it just my imagination, or who else thinks Dr. Snow looks EXACTLY like YODA ! hahahaha
Free to kill again? Didnt the police keep taps on him?incredulous!
Ikr. I thought I had misunderstood at first.

“That’s MY money…you’re not gonna TOUCH that money!” Ooooooh…New Detectives AGAIN with the slam dunk reenactments😂🤯🤦♂️.
Lots of complications came after Joyner's conviction in the Sandra Hernandez case. I still think he did it but there were issues with the investigation and exclusion of evidence of someone else who could have killed Hernandez.
I love it when a plan comes together 😛👍
The first thing that should be taught is FIRST DO NO HARM.
So sad for the twin boys. Relationships are very dangerous for women
Background music two loud
Ok didn't take long to run into the complaints
Thank you
How can someone cut off a human head?
Take a saw and go at it !
@@clemclemson9259 you took the words out of my mouth lol
Hanging with piano wire and a properly tied noose is effective otherwise a hacksaw.
Knives, saws, hatchets, lots of tools
Why would someone poison herself and then jump?
because the poison was taking too long and was causing them to suffer? seems pretty obvious
The actor playing Tim Massey was daddy 😍
I read your comment before seeing the guy and I’m just… grossed out now lo
I dont care how much money you offered me. There is no way in hell I would agree an offer by a stranger to be tied up to a tree in the woods for photographs.
id have to know someone for a week or more before i did that

stop yapping

The judge should've add 100 more years for lottery scam money, Into that evil sentence
Background music FAR TOO LOUD to enjoy this video…
How could the police get a warrant to search Joiners home without probable cause? And other cases there seems to be probable cause but police are told it's not and are not granted the warrant?
Apparently there WAS probable cause. Maybe it wasn't mentioned in the video, or maybe you missed it.
Scary. 🤐

why doesn't the so called "bone expert" know that the human skeleton has 206 bones,..NOT 200 !
No music ffs

This show is from the 90s all the crime shows had music
They won’t tell you who the shooter was; but his name was Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed, a convicted felon
Weirdest comments on earth.
It's funny he got away I bet he ties good knots know lock in a sock 😂😂😂

I noticed that too. But the one episode did talk of the guy killing the men in the woods
Imagine being so desperate to agree to let a weirdo take pictures bandage pictures of you. So sad for each person who lost their life to this MONSTER
No need to apologize, BUG &LUHG take priority
The murderer's, the psychos, the sadists will come to know me well. Frank Castle is dead. Call me The Punisher💀
He almost made it ......he was right bout the dome....lol
hahahaha...Billy Leslie will be sadly missed at the local MENSA meetings....
Dead butterfly 🦋 💀 ✨️ I am crying not really
What happened to his other 5 wives 🤔.
The profiler described this perpertrator as a sexual sadist. No shit!
First story secret cop was incompetent
