I honestly thought renting a cabana would cost more than that. By Disney standards it’s not outrageous. I’ve never swam at Disney but those pools sure do look amazing 😍
I always work in a pool day or two just to rest and recover (I’m from the UK so I go to WDW for ten days to two weeks at a time). BUT I would never pay for a cabana, even if I was with a large group. The whole point of the pool day is to save a bit of money and relax so why would you want to spend basically as much as a park ticket?!
During covid when we were really at the hotel a lot maybe, but on average we are at the parks day in and day out from open to close so we always go with the cheapest hotel we can find on property . So the pools really don't matter to us.
I actually think that they aren’t that like yk what they said because like they’re nice they have a stocked fridge, tv, basically everything so you don’t have to pay for drinks and stuff and tbh in my opinion they are great! Especially for young children or adults who want a Disney vacation alone
Of the 2 - 2 week holidays I have been on to WDW as an adult, I have been to the pool once for about an hour. I've paid to be in the parks not the pool.

Art of Animation’s cozy cone cabanas are free! First come, first serve! They are fabulous with a great pool.
A nice pool definitely decides where we stay
it makes a big impact for some people!
100 percent YES!

Y’all make it seem cheaper and more available than cabanas at universal resorts. If I remember correctly, they sell out a lot and cost twice as much.
Not worth it unless at a waterpark like Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.
Cruel summer, love it!!!
im thinking about going to during christmas time. what is the best hotel during christmas ?
Remember Disney heats up their pools it temps drop below a certain temp so is you are people that like to swim you can can no matter when you go.
Grand Floridian
Google pictures of the tree and gingerbread house from years past...
