Would love more in depth stats in CM such as transfer history for each player with fees, as well as goals assists clean sheets etc over the course of their career. Same should be applied for retired players.
This is needed so badly, more than anything else.

My favorite team is Flamengo! I want to do a career mode with them but it’s impossible with the current state of fifa. I really hope they eventually get more licenses for South America. EFootball has it all, but has no master league.

Transfer all the random players to free agents. And create the team in ‘create a player’. Then you have the added bonus of giving them the position, rating, hairstyles etc that you want!

There are so many small things EA can add to make Career mode so much better, for example:
- Different celebrations for different cups depending on how big they are, like Carbao cup and champions legaue having the same animation? That's boring, needs change.
- You can request board for more transfer budget and can promise to win something or do good(was there in previous fifa)
-You can choose your own staff.
-Managers moving clubs to different clubs and nations.
- When a club like madrid,barca,bayern etc offer for your players, players should have a say like it's their dream club and they want to go.
-Manager contract extensions.
- Great players leaving on a free by not renewing their contrac, make it a bit rare tho.
-Half time cutscenes, full time cutscenes and pre-game cutsenses, new cutscenes.
-Adding clubs have B teams, would be so much easier to grow young low rated players
And there is so many more SMALL changes EA can add to the game to make it better, these are just few, not even big, just small changes that I have no idea how they are not in the game yet

I don't rate the current youth system in the way the players are random computer generated. I'd like to see a career mode starting way back in the - probably the 50s at the beginning of the European Cup. Decades of legends to play through. Sign Pelé, Cruyff, Best, Maradona, Eusébio, Beckenbauer, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. All the records for this to be achieved.
To make the balancing of finances more challenging and keep the club competitive while rivals are constantly improving... the need for stadium upgrades, whether extending the existing stadium or building new - would bring something extra to the game. Manager games have had this before. I enjoyed the stadium designing of old manager games, even though the options were limited... this could be spectacular now.
Then another aspect of attracting higher calibre players could be not allowing the training facilities to fall behind your rivals either.
Having the whole feeder club concept implemented into the game. If you're playing with giant, having multiple feeder clubs available to loan out youth players without having to negotiate the removal of the option to buy. Also if using a smaller club for your career, being the feeder club to the bigger clubs could get some of their youth players for free while the parent club pays their wages. Could even get peripheral squad players on loan for free. Perhaps feeder clubs could deal between each other at any stage of the season - ok that's not real world but this is a video game, only so much reality required.

In my experience strict makes the transfers more realistic. Players 80 and above won't go to the championship. It is much harder to sign a player from a rival. Overall it is better for realistic saves imo.
Also it hurts my soul to see players transfer to rivals even if it’s not my team

a few years ago you could've asked the owner or board for extra money, they almost never gave it but IT was a fun feature. They need to bring that back
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I enjoy going as far as possible into a career mode game and swap in-between clubs. Started at Barca and won some Champions leagues with Chelsea and Barca. I highly recommend

I call it the International Club Football Federation or ICFF. Essentially it uses the UEFA system but with condensed Euro Super Leagues with International club leagues slotted into certain European leagues - here’s a breakdown of how I did it…
- England 🏴 Leagues = Euro Alpha LG1 (Top clubs from ENG, ESP, GER, ITA, FRA in Premiere Lg) *lesser teams fall in randomly in the lower leagues
- Germany 🇩🇪 = Euro Alpha LG2 (same as ENG) *All clubs are evenly distributed between both Alpha LGs for balance creating 2 super league systems
- Spain 🇪🇸 = Euro Super LG1 (Top clubs from TURK, BEL, CZECH, GREECE)
- Italy 🇮🇹 = Euro Super LG2 (Top Clubs from NETH & POR)

What II am doing now is what I call doing an Ancelotti and trying to become the youngest manager to win the 5 big leagues (England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany), but by starting lower. For example I started with OHL (the team I support) and went 9th in the season, but won the cup. Next season I moved to Fulham and promoted them by finishing second. Then I signed for AC Milan and now we are in the running for the title, which could give me the first of the five leagues.

I remember that in Fifa13 players' needs were way more involved in the transfers, like when a player decided he wanted to go away to another club, it was very difficult to make him stay even if you let him play every single game; so you had to replace him, and that was very difficult too because the budget was always low, so if you wanted to buy good players, you always needed to sell someone, or instead buy youngsters who could become good. I remember winning Serie A and Champions League with AC Milan and getting 30 million £ as budget and I could buy like only 1 good player. Now I have to put boundaries myself on how much money to spend, because there is too much. Fifa13 career mode was way more difficult than now, but also so much funnier. (hope my English is good)
I usually use Strict transfers and it can make s huge difference. Usually means that you can't sign anybody over a certain rating depending what league or division you're in. Can be frustrating when you're in the Premier League for example as it doesn't let you sign anyone over an 85 rating, showing a message saying that they're unwilling to move to a league that's not competitive enough for their skill level, even if they're already playing in that league! It means that you could eventually get to a point where you can't buy players better than you already have and you'd have to rely on bringing in lower rated players and develop them.
I find that in the English Leagues the highest rating you can sign in Strict is 69 if you're in League One or Two, 79 in the Championship and 85 in the Premier League.
Honestly transfers are the one big drawback in career mode nowadays holding it back from being a good functional mode. It's almost there, they just need to code the AI clubs to not over-stack in certain positions and from my experience, clubs like Arsenal or Chelsea never spend enough meanwhile the likes of Aston Villa or Leicester spend tons 💀

I created a club in the 4th division and by the time I made the Prem, Leeds became a powerhouse and was spending over 200M and had a super team W Bruno, Adama traore, vlahovic, and Cherki, they made the UCL finale, I was playing career mode and the AI was also playing career mode with leeds

I enjoy using create a club to make a non league team and place them in League Two. Start off with the lowest capacity stadium with a team rating roughly to keep it realistic with other teams in the League, create kits for the first season like the actual IRL kits accurately as possible, after a few promotions I recommend upgrading the stadium to keep it realistic as all the prize money could be pretended to be used as a fund for your stadium and go from 10,000 capacity to about 20-30,000 to keep realism. It’s a fresh career mode idea for anyone wanting some sort of different type of career. I also recommend if you do it to choose a non league team that is local or nearby to where you currently live.

Strict is kinda unrealistic because in my AC Milan career mode I can't sign anyone in Serie A at all. In real life, transfers inside the league happen more frequently than transfers with outside clubs.
EA should make a "retro career mode" which basically means you go back like 20 years and you have some very hard tasks to do for a club (for e.g for Barcelona you need to make a squad with all 90 OVR players) and if you do all those tasks, you can unlock something in FUT (some kits, maybe a special card) or unlock some exclusive retro kit skins for the clubs in career mode. IMO it'd be really fun. Also one thing they couldve added is sponsors to create a club. For e.g a sponsor pays you depending on how successful your club is (1 star clubs might be some cheap company and for a 5 star club you could get sponsors from audi, tesco ect.) anyway that's all.

something i do on console, is edit the team sheets and transfers, and use them in kick off or career mode with friends and sometimes we build a dream team and play against each other, or a what if challenge in kickoff and we just sim the game out live
if your into career mode, just spend a few minutes updating all the transfers and things then hop into career mode, sim the first season and start from the second season. this makes it feel like your playing fifa 23 already. also this can all be done on console or any platform, no pc or mods required.
How do I change players team?
Every Fifa I start with DCU (fave MLS team) and just manage until I get job offers. I try going as far as possible and it never gets boring. I take the L's like I take the W's. The only time I search for another team myself is if my all time favorite team is available which is Braga. Once I'm at Braga, I take the remainder of the seasons to improve them as much as possible and try making them a power house team. I never get bored
its hard for my to do a career mode on my team as its liverpool and they are too op that you have everyone 90+ second season
I used my favourite team which is middlesbrough and honestly it's decently hard because the team Is made up of mainly loans and so in the 1st season if you run with the money that you start with its down to you to either buy the loans or let the loans run out and fill the spots with other players for example free agents
I always did a realistic Porto CM when I played fifa. Every player had a set release clause and my best players I'd only keep for a max of 2 years. Constantly rebuilding with youth and buying from lesser teams. Always aimed for 2 European trophies in the 15 years, that alone would cement you as a legend with the club
I usually do no under 21s for signing and you always have to sell to the top 6 or the best team in the top 5 leagues that way it’s more realistic and you can’t grow the players as well with them being older
im gonna combine 2 of these, 1: play with the club im supporting (sandefjord, im from norway) 2: only signing youth academy players

In strict the players are valued more and the clubs who sell the players to you ask for way more than the value of the player and it’s realistic in a way if a players form is good the value is more than double and if it’s bad u can get a steal like 23-24 million for a 20 million player
What I have been doing lately is go to a team that has a partner club (for instance Leicester and OHL from Belgium) than what I do is pick te weaker team and after a season or 2 start trading my best players for some of their worser each year until both the club I'm helping and the club I'm playing with are on top of their league.
In player career mode, create your own storylines like, rival players in the same positions, and other stuff

I've tried play career mode on strict nego and it really sucks since they wouldn't give their player to their rival like Man Utd not easily give CR7 or even Elanga to Man City just becuase they rival. Other things I can see if you start career mode on EFL League, u cannot simply buy high or medium rated player from Premier League/La Liga/Bundesliga/Ligue 1 bcoz the team will say player not interested to play lower standard league like efl championship .. so its really2 hard for those who start career mode on EFL League Two
I remember loaning federico valverde to Manchester City as man united I signed one of man city's midfielders instead so when we played city valverde was playing against his parent club for 1 season
What i did was get 1 billion for newcasrle and buy players that ive never used or wouldve because of how career mode is, for example, Hazard, Maguire, Asensio, Dybala etc
Something I really like to do is a save with an incredibly high insury rate. Your team has to be quite big and there is a good fluctuation in the starting 11.
My suggestion for carrer mode is That You should Create Sheriff FC give them extra money and lead them to Glory winning the Champions League The League you’re playing sign some good players etc
You should create a club with all your friends or family members. Do this by creating all these players in create a player and then put them in some random team and transfer them to your created club

strict just means that if a player is important or really high profile a club wont let you approach them or if a player has less than a year at the club you cant approach them and negotiations are much harder to bring the price down even for like 1-2 million less but it wont let you sign players over 87 in any league but the prem

I always loved The Journey Story Mode, and I picked it back up and am doing an entire playthrough of it. Having a blast. I'm also doing a career mode now where I'm taking an MLS team, but I'm building it with only American players and seeing how it goes. Also tried to make the worst possible team by putting the worst team in the game in the premier league. Got fired in January. If you want, they're all great options
i do a career mode with my hometown club and then i try to win the cl while irl there in the second division of dutch football and never qualified for the cl i think😂

what i do is build multiple super teams switching around club to club which makes the champions league fun af especially modifying players in PC. also I develop multiple young talents for lower tier national teams and make them powerhouses
No Spend RTG… you can only generate money for transfers and contract extensions from player sale and you can stay at one club for max 2 seasons…
hey mate! i’m a big fan! i’ve got an idea for the next time you do this bored of career mode like the next part you do an episode. you could use the premier league, take out all the teams, and add bigger teams eg. psg. barcelona, real madrid. european teams like that and make it a big league like they were gonna do with the super league, you could set a certain budget, of 50 million and you can’t buy the best players in the world, you can only use low rated players and develop them to become the best, and take the club up to the top, so if you’re liverpool you can sell salah, mane, and players like that to earn more money to buy younger players, and make a big league with all the best teams of each competition in european leagues, i’ve tried it and it’s so hard on legendary difficulty to beat all the best teams, it makes it so hard, so you could use that as another idea, cheers mate! hope you see this!
funniest thing i ever did was creating all my friends as players and put them on a team. Always start with miserable stats but boost the one theyre best at (one dude had 89 acc and 25 speed). Watching them become some of the best players in the world is hilarious. Also write them a message irl telling them to play better even if they dont understand what the hell is happening.
Highly suggest making a gc and keeping them up with your campaign, asking them where they want to move or make them fight over who stays on the bench.
Optionally create your team in EFL3 so your goal is to reach premier league.
U can use for example one nation team like Albania, Nigeria etc. and start from the 4 league of English football
I do an career mode where i take a team i do arsenal right now where i put al the real players on free agents and only sign youth player put them in league two and i try to create the best players of all time with youth player so i scout a french striker and make that the thierry henry of the save and the same with other player like bergkamp. And of course i sign regens of player like ozil alexis etc. Its actually a really fun thing to do

A suggestion is to do a player career mode, i started at my team hull as one of the hull players (keane lewis potter) hes at brentford now in real life and i went from hull to galatasaray and i am now with Arsenal. Or my other suggestion is to start with a low league club or a minor league like in league 2 or say in like a random league like the the irish league and just slowly work your way up to the bigger leagues, as staying at one club can get too easy especially if they are a big team because you just get ridiculous transfer budgets like i was at a premier league team and after liks 8 seasons my transfer budget was like £300 million upwards and I already had like 85+ in my xi and bench. If you move every couple seasons you get different challenges. Like going from swindon then getting a job with like aberdeen and then say psv then lyon and then you get your big job at man utd or something. And then you slowly decline so u go from man utd and end up at frankfurtthen work your way back down

Try making a super league in england by adding all th best clubs in all 4 leagues and work your way upp with a decent team such as monaco etc

Last year I disabled transfers (since Chelsea had a transfer ban) and it was a fun start
I have done a whrexham rebuild where I put them into league 2 with no financial takeover and I'm in the Premier league now in the 5th season
I love playing on strict but the thing Is if I'm in the prem or something I can't sign a person like Trent with city so it's useless

I want to suggest something for things we want in fifa 23 I think it is too late but I would like to see Al ahly a 10 caf winning Egyptian team they have the team who is a lot worse then them ( Kaiser chiefs) who we beat in the final 2-0 last year I think but they have very bad teams and do not want to add average or good teams including al Ahly

A fun thing I do is if I’m a top 4 team I disable the European competition and earn UCL for yourself

1. Touch grass.
I don’t want to do my club. Because my club is liverpool, and it would be too easy.
Another thing is make a prime team with making your own characters I made prime united and it only took 10 min

I always choose the most difficult option because when I played with the easiest option the game lost its fun very quickly, one thing FiFa could have is for example if we could offer more than one player in exchange for another, for example give 2 players in exchange for one player and more money, they do that in real life so yeah it would be interesting to see that in the game, I found the Journey mode interesting, so interesting that I went to Amazon to buy the game (fifa18) but the game costs 30€, it is a high price, I thought it would be cheaper, I didn't buy it...
Now I understand why I have people who are on my friends list on Origin and sometimes I see people playing those older FiFas like 18 or 17 and now I understand why.
I am more of a PES/Efootball fan ( not the latest one ) after spending more than 20 years without playing FiFa last year I bought the 22 and I have to admit that the game overall is better than PES/Efootball, for example I love the atmosphere in the stadiums, I love it and other thinks, but of course not everything is good
Strict is good because players won’t go to a league not worthy of their talent, ie neymar wouldn’t go to turkey
