BTS paved the way because they didn’t follow the other card board cutouts formula. They created their own platform and made the rules for others to follow as best as they can. BTS are the favourite topping on what would be a very ordinary dessert without it.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I believe an artist should be very creative and I don't understand why other groups are happy only to be trend follower and not trend setter.
Another thing I noticed that I think BTS Created a trend, was their authenticity and the way they communicate with army etc, and now I think most groups try (not saying others arent also authentic) but lots of groups kind of seem to force their relationships with other members of that group and the relationship with their fans, coming up with colour meaning (borahae much) 😂 with the words BTS members said with so much sincerity.

I also had someone from another fandom (not going to say which fandom because this person was not a representation of that fandom or group) that tried to tell ARMY that BTS copied their groups messages such as love yourself and that BTS DIDN'T create anything or help kpop get known globally. 😂 It was hilarious, they were so confident in what they were saying without actually checking anything they were saying. Basically they made a fool out of themselves. Some people can't accept the fact that BTS have paved the way, and that they have lots of positive influence over multiple generations all around the world. You don't have to be ARMY to know that it is a fact.

Love yourself was such a pure message and it had been a thing for BTS since day1 basically. And the fact that other people started using an amazing message that helped millions, just to turn it into a gimmick saddens me, but also makes me laugh, because others try so hard. 😂

Let’s also give credit to the creative, talented and intelligent people behind BTS - Bang PD-nim and their staff. All of the concepts, the storyline, the marketing strategies etc, were made possible because of the team effort put together by their management and of course, BTS and ARMY.

one of the things that im most grateful about is the comeback map. armys pre-2020 really had a hard time because we literally didn't know when ANYTHING would be released apart from the MV and album, ofc. like, we didn't know when the photo concept would drop, or the tracklist, or the mv teaser, or even the comeback trailer that they released every comeback, it was the first thing that they released of a comeback, everything was a surprise released and we just created theories about the dates that they'd most probably drop something 😂. i remember when "Euphoria" dropped out of nowhere, we didn't even knew what was all that about until july 2018, when they announced the Answer album. anyways, before the MOTS7 I can assure you that NO group released comeback maps or announced their promotions schedule in advance, BTS did it all themselves, in addition to being the first to release a pre-release track, a thing that every kpop group do now.

as an american, i think jk actually has a shot with billboard complying because of scooter braun
as much as i don't like the man (scooter), he's in charge of some of the biggest artists ariana, justin and demi etc. so he knows people and who to shake hands with and how to make sure he gets radio play
this was also why left and right was so successful because charlie puth always gets radio play so they can't deny him records
now i don't know why only jk is working with scooter and not the other boys, i'm guessing maybe it was his (jk's) decision because bang pd is close to him and jk loves the artists scooter represents
but i think jk's song will blow up in a huge way with american industry support, i wish all the boys got it but i'm happy for jk even if don't like scooter
so yeah, i don't think we have to worry about jk not getting billboards support for a change
