Those guys in the hoodies gave me the weirdest feeling of familiarity, and I couldn't put my finger on why. But now I know, they're basically Klokateers.
@mommo1971 Oh probably, I wouldn't doubt that. Honestly I think we're all on some type of list. I'm on a list because I'm not "normal" and thus perceived as unstable or something. I'm just really honest that some of the things I enjoy in life is sex, drugs, and rock n roll and am unapologetic with no shame about it. As I've said once to a cop that tried (keyword TRIED) to date me when I was younger. I went out for a cigarette and came back. He said very spiteful "how long have you had an addictive personality?! Probably your whole life hu!" Now see, this is my response, even to psychologists to make it very clear they're pathologizing something systemically wrong, and not an actual pathology. I am of sound mind and body, and what I do in my life is my own and seems to be the only real freedom of choice I have and society tries to steal that away. My response is this "let me make something very clear. I don't have a problem with addiction. YOU have a problem with my addictions. I'm perfectly comfortable with my addictions." I'm sorry, maybe I'm too ideal, I don't feel mentally damaged either. What I do feel is that, what is considered "the norm" or even at times "healthy" as never really been appealing or exciting to me. It's said those who take up hobbies like bungee jumping, white water rafting, parasailing, paragliding, mountain climbing, and so on are "healthy hobbies over others" despite the fact they're very risky. I live by simple rules like, do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt others. That core philosophy has led me to only five ligitamate rules: don't murder, don't rape, don't molest, don't abuse (basically no physical violence on others), The misdemeanor of these depending on the situation and various other aspects to the situation is don't steel people's stuff (this does not apply to corporations only literal individual human beings) because people have things like sentimentality. I also think, if you're ashamed of what you're doing, then you shouldn't be doing it or if it's not making you happy. I'm a wild card, I wish I could separate myself from society to live as I wish, but that's not possible. I'm a quality and experience of life kind of guy over longevity or quantity of life. I think many people have romanticized about those who live a lifestyle like that without truly understanding the sacrifices and compromises that come with it. Let be clear, everything comes with sacrifice and consequence, the question is can you live with those. This has resulted in many people trying to live a life that results in consequences or sacrifices they don't like thus becoming hurt by their existence. The result is those within the system pathologize such a lifestyle without understanding some are completely fine with it and often do not make the mistakes of those who end up in therapy over it; poor things. Being free and wild takes smarts, wisdom, death of ego, being non-judgmental, self-discipline, and probably a few more attributes that aren't coming to mind at the moment. When a person lives as they want they become a threat to the status qoe. A person telling people, you don't need a land lord if we all just take care of the property together, than someone with gun. You exist as a living model of someone who can exist without living under a hierarchical system of authority just fine. It's a statement that says "we don't really need authority figures to function as a society." That's my pipe dream, so I'm sure I've said many things that cause them to want to watch me. Even though I'm no threat to anyone at all, which is hilarious to me. They treat me like a threat, but I'm not in anyway and probably more humanitarian than they are.
Absolutely perfect doing animation to your song, brilliant. I will be 60 this year and am ending my live show days with you & Mark in Sacramento , have enjoyed your music for years. Thank you. Royal.
I'm a 54 year old father of two men. I introduced them to Metallica,NIN, KoRn, and TooL. Now that I have found Night Club I'm introducing them to this...

Just went to the Puscifer concert last night. I never heard of Night Club until last night, and you nailed it. Probably one of the best openers I've seen since the Beaches opened for the Foo Fighters in Toronto 2018.
Love the band and constantly love when I hear the DJ load up anything from Night Club. Can easily listen over and over and love the music videos. Animated or otherwise. Always looking forward to them and telling my friends. I would name my favorite songs but I'd just end up listing whole albums lol.
It's so great that Night Club doesn't change itself and releases all the same cool tracks! You guys are the best! THANK YOU FOR GREAT MUSIC, I'm ecstatic)
Idk why the animation gave me metalocolyps vibes n just love your voice gurl! Happy to see you come out with new stuff n hope to see you when you come to mn
YES!!! This song was too good to go without an official video, and animation was a great choice. I first heard this during the 2020 Covid shutdown days, and interpreted it in that context as a personal insistence for liberty come what may.
Unless it's heavily based on Donna Summer - I feel love.. But not bad. Definately not Eric Prydz-Call on me level based... But still preety obvious. Nice track anyway.
So that's it. I found NC about 1.5 years ago. Show it To Me was the first. That song hit me on first listen. Then the YT algorithm would occasionally throw me a NC song or two. Slowly I got to the point where I was listening to more and more of your songs, mainly at work. I think that was the hardest subscription you got... I resisted for almost 1.5 years, but I couldn't take it anymore. Respect you guys, you are extremely talented, never stop!
This was actually my most listened to song last year on Spotify; I have a feeling it is going to become my most my viewed video this year on TH-cam😎👍 Awesome stuff Guys👏👏 Absolutely LOVE it😎🕺☠️🖤☠️💃🏻🤘
Funny you should mention it. Half of Night Club is Mark Brooks. He was the director of Metalocalypse and he also directed a lot of the music videos for Dethklok. Now he both makes the beats and directs the music videos for Night Club.
On a serious note.... that is a good enough reason for you to hold on. I promise that is enough of a placeholder for wanting to live. If that's the most you can hold out for, okay. I believe you can do it, & I believe you will be able to find a new placeholder to hold onto if & when you make it to their next release. Live in this song & this moment - that's all you need for now. In the long term, I hope you continue to reach out to people on the internet as well in real life & professional helps. You can make it the four minutes this song lasts, & then you can replay it & make it another four minutes. essentially, you can take these agonizingly long seconds & minutes & days in slower portions. Make sure to rest after, too. Hold on for 24 hours... you can commit to a space of time before you commit to the live Vs die battle just yet. You can decide tomorrow. But wake up, & commit to just that day. & try again the next day. You wont enjoy any of it & it might seem in vein, but then you'll wake up & the day you've been living for is going to happen. & you will have new music to explore. & you may be able to pick another moment to live for while you listen to your goal playing in your ears. Make four minutes into 24 hours into the weeks it might take to drop new music. ♡ much love.

"Parachute not opening, that's a reason to die. Getting your balls bitten off by a Laplander, that's the way I wanna go." - Frank Drebin -
My favorite part in the song is the "this is my party and I die if I want to", and OMG, the dancing skeleton was so cute :D
The animation 100% gives me Metalocalypse vibes and I'm loving it
Yeah, I thought same thing after few seconds of vid and go to comments... and here your comment.
That's because one of the band member, Mark Brooks, was involved with Metalocalypse as a director, and also had a hand in the animation.
hahahah my thoughts excetly!
the references .. the one on "it's my party and i will cry if I want to".. that's what killed me.. it made me feel like i have lived 1000 lives

I think Mark Brooks worked on that show before they started this band. :)
