Very cool ! i bought one of those around 1959 and kept it until about 1980 . it was my all time favorite bike . indestructible and fantastic off road . in 1985 i bought a schwinn Cimmaron MTB . no suspension , cro mo frame , crappy rim brakes , but insanely fun as a downhill bike . lots of crashes and no damage to the bike . i now have a 4700€ e MTB from Austria and it's not nearly as fun as my older bikes .
What bottom bracket and crank set up did you use, your build came out awesome, just got into rebuilding bicycles and I want to make myself a klunker cruiser. Built a nice single speed track bike, and I'm rebuilding a GT mountain bike, it's coming out nice and almost completed. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Take care and keep your wheels on the road.
@@crazydontklunkerz in BMX there are standard right-side and some left-side oriented drivetrains, you got a crankset for left-side and installed it flipped.
Based sa link ng mga parts I know kabayan ka. Hehe. Anyway, ganda sir. Ask ko san ka nakahanap ng frame at straight fork. Planning to build kasi. Looking forward to your reply. Ty
hello from Burgundy 🇫🇷 Congratulations, that's a nice transformation. I would like to know where can I buy the reducer (adapter) for the bottom bracket, thank you and good luck👍
hello, i did not used an adapter for the bottom bracket, i just bought it online on our country heres the link >>> shopee.ph/product/130430959/2886769813?gclid=CjwKCAjwloynBhBbEiwAGY25dAJECdr6_9Ug2DIy1ptwjo5yxMmWPkiq8tuu0H733DvV6F2YTexOThoCPC0QAvD_BwE
It's an oversize Headset, but needed to resize the insert of the headset cup, so i bring it to a machine shop to lathe the insert to the size of the headtube
hi, yes im willing to share, but most of the parts ive used in this build are my spare, except for the Handle bar, 3 piece crank set and handle grips. is there any particular parts you need to know?
the headset was an Oversize headset, then i bring it to our local machine shop to adjust the insert diameter to match the frame, then the bottom bracket and part are BMX parts that you can easily find on your local bike shops.

That’s one rad build! Love the way the frame looks.

Отличный велосипед, такие в моем стиле.. Красивый
thanks
Awesome!! I’m sure it’s already been asked, what brand chain is that? Love the look of it!
@@erikvonbold it's a shimano olive chain
Nice build, the blue really pops against the frame patina 😎👍
thanks!
The crankarms are each on the wrong side,
you can See that in the pedalshape
you cant go wrong on the crank arms, because the right side arms have screw for the chainring, so you will know its the right side. :)

@@originalchristianvogt oh i see, i didn't know that there is a left sided drivetrain, thanks for the info.
I love inverted cranks😊 Makes a Klunker Klunker.

Nice build!
what kind of headset is that, that lets you install an over ahead of non threaded fork?? i must know!

Hi. Fun bike. I dig it. Do you have a parts list for this build you would be willing to share?
hi, yes im willing to share, but most of the parts ive used in this build are my spare, except for the Handle bar, 3 piece crank set and handle grips. is there any particular parts you need to know?
Yes, what headset did you use.
@@king_elvis818 x2.. also need to know about the headet adapter..
Whats the brand or name of the style the chain is
@@MH-cj1gz shimano olive chain
solid 👌
Real nice.
thanks!
nice build did you clear coat the frame or just run it raw??
just raw, i did swipe some boiled linseed oil on it
Where'd you get the headset pieces and the bottom bracket parts? They look new?
the headset was an Oversize headset, then i bring it to our local machine shop to adjust the insert diameter to match the frame, then the bottom bracket and part are BMX parts that you can easily find on your local bike shops.
Ugh. Was hoping headset was something not custom.
Where did you get that bike stand?
on our local bike shop :)
The bmx style crank with the single bolt holding the chain ring is worrisome. If it shears (which they do) you would loose the coaster brake.
Everything but the chain.
What did you wipe the frame with and why
it's boiled linseed oil to preserve the patina and protect it from rusting
San probinsya yan bro?
Bulacan po
What kind of stem is that ?
its a BMX stem
