    You know I have not figured out why some preachers/pastors do not go through the Proverbs thoroughly or why they "rush" through them. This is just one of maybe 4 I could find that only talks about Proverbs 9. I am glad you did a thorough study. I was confused plus I would not have thought of how you related Proverbs 9 to other scripture. Fascinating! Thank you.

    14:44 ( folly says) paraphrased: you dont have to do it Gods way. you dont have to enjoy just the blessings that are given to you: you can have whatever you want, whenever you want.
    I think this is exactly what the mainstream cultures core is.
