Hurem was not walda sultan she only succeeded to ascend her son Salim the drunk the most filthy son of Suleiman

Kosem had 7 children Mehmed (1605-1621), Ayse (1607-1657), Fatma (1608-1667), Hanzade (1609-1650), Murad IV (1612-1640), Kasim (1614-1638) and Ibrahim (1615-1648). Gevherhan (1605-1660) was certainly not Kosem's child because as kosem gave birth to Mehmed in 1605 she couldn't give birth to Gevherhan the same year. Atike too was not Kosem's child. There is no proof that atike was a twin to Ibrahim also Atike was against Kosem through her whole life so she was certainly not Kosem's daughter. Suleiman (1613-1635) was the son of Ahmed through one of the minor concubines. Bayezid (1612-1635) was the son of Mahfiruze not Gulbahar(who is a fictional character). Mahfiruze most probably died after giving birth to Bayezid because of some complications at childbirth. She had no other child(some say she was the mother of all the children of Ahmed who were not Kosem's children). All other children of Ahmed were born of minor concubines.
