moving forward or backwards into the air (such as positioning yourself to hit the bomb with the dair so that it sends you towards the stage) is called drifting, not DI. DI only refers to how you change your trajectory once you are already hit by something.
Hey man wanted to say amazing find! This is probably the most consistent recovery link has. I came up with a similar tech but yours is much simpler lol. Side note I noticed you can't do this tech when you are close to 1/4 stage down near the bottom. However you can nair instead of the dair. It won't send you very far but at high percents it'll save you for sure. You want to be around 140 ish though. I'm posting my own link everything vid soon so I hope I can increase the link main hype haha. Incredible find dude serious props to you links tech is just endless
ZeldaProZx86 I'll expand, you can't di in a direction you're going or opposite if you're going. If you're sent forward you can't DI up or down. If you're sent down same thing.

yeah peeps i learned to SDI TDI and regular DI after learning that i already used to DI through osmosis So yeah thanks anyways
Soultail I believe it does, but Toon Link's regular Bomb Jump (Up B into your Bomb) it much more reliable than Link's, so that should be the better option.
