@@MrBrutalFrosty thanks, can you please do a video on how to setup the float bait rig? Im new to float fishing and can’t get my head around the setup you guys recommend to float a squid strip
@@HuiChen03 yeah its a very stange method some locals use i can do a vid i can also explain it here this setup works in many conditions as itl keep the float from moving around in the wind and the waves get like 1m of leader line tie a hook to it youl then have a hook on the bottom and youl have that spare line currently attached to nothing what you want to do then is get a swivel and tie it on youl then have somthing that looks liike this hook on bottom 1m of line up to a swivel. THEN you want to get a snap swivel with a small sinker and put that through your main line connected to the rod youl then put the float also on the main line itl look like your snap swivel and sinker is above the float thats perfect then just tie it down on the leader you just made the full setup will look like this starting from bottom to top hook on bottom thats connected to 1m of leader line that is then attached to a swivel. above the swivel will be your float then above that float will be a snap swivel with a small 1 ounce or so sinker thats what will keep the float from moving its hard to explain but i might do a vid if still confused abit. the reason we run a snap swivel above the float is the snap swivel with the sinker will slowly drop down and hold the bottom buyt the float will stay up that way you can easily utilize using a float in bad conditions regardless of wind direction
@@MrBrutalFrosty yeah gl, I used one of those nomad dartwing lures today, kept it off the rocks but somehow it snapped In half, idk if a fish did that but all ik is when I retrieved it it was munted
@@Portlander. yeah you ngot to make sure you dont bend it or slam it against anything or it wont last i caught around 30 salmon before mine became cracked
Sadly I fked up it was another kingy 30secs after I pulled in the big one I should of checked quality of my line and one of my snells pulled off after I tighten up drag I should of let it run more but got to excited lol
@@dannyver5926 yeah im beyond wrapped i was stressssssed entire fight as the wall was packed to the brim but luckily he was knackered I had him at close to 10kgs drag and he was pulling hard for ages he pretty much gave up at the end thankgod
