I enjoy watching these videos on the Wheel Horse 520H. I purchased a used one and then purchased a near like new 2 stage blower attachment that came with factory wheel weights. I then found a complete cab. I put together electric chute swivel and deflector motors and wired the joystick control. The end product was very worth the money. Thanks for the video.
Getting those side panels off after 24 or so years of rusting bolts must have taken quite a while your first time! Switching those augers wasn't half as difficult in mid-adjustment in the driveway at least, thanks for including your foibles, misery loves some company! I love your chute direction adjuster improvement! I'll have to see if I can implement that rig, switching direction is such a hassle!!!!
Yes thank you for your kind words. Actually they came off decent with my Milwaukee impact😬 yes I have old videos when I did the chute and deflector electric motors. They came from a Subaru driver seat. I’m gonna be changing the auger direction motor. It’s too slow 😁. I’m in the midst of some new improvements. Will be posting new videos soon. Thanks 👍🏼
I realize that this is an old video, but I don't think you needed to switch the augers. At 4:45 when you show the augers rotation ... the impeller is also turning the wrong way (should be turning counter clockwise). This would indicate the Hydraulic lines are reversed... so you switched the augers when you didn't need to.
Hi thanks for watching. The rotation of the impeller can not be reversed. It was an optical illusion of it turning the wrong way. This has no hydraulic lines. It is run off a belt to a 90 gear box and chain to the impeller. You’ll notice once I swapped the augers everything worked fine. Thanks.
