Another very detailed video, clearly you have a lot of dedication for this stuff, keep it up! :D A captured T-28 was used by the Finns as a command tank for their armored force, by a "Mannerheim´s cross" recepient "Albert Räsänen", that lead his T-28 by foot since the ability to spot targets from T-28´s were considered poor, he got his Mannerheim cross for leading a attack with his T-28 on 1941 "Exemplary bold and vigorous action as a heavy tank team leader on Tuulos breakthrough, capturing 4 field guns and one armored car and, thus opening the road for a infantry battalion in a difficult situation, on a attack to Petrozavodsk, in the attack against the enemy he used his tank to break into the heavily defended enemy postions, destroying a large number of bunkers and continued to advance in the dark, leading the attack on-foot with tanks and infantry following behind him" (The nickname that the Finns used for T-28 was the "Post Train", since 1 of the captured T-28 had a alot of letters from the Red Army inside of it, when it got captured)
Toni kireE Lahtinen i'm glad to hear that you like these vids =D they are my favorite ones to make. yes i didn't add it in the video, but the Finns captured 7 to my knowledge, one being converted to a mobile recovery vehicle. i apologize for the stuttering, i've just had some dental work and my mouth was still swollen!

Little surprised you didn't mention the several attempts at upgunning it further. There were multiple prototypes featuring the L-11, the F-32, and the F-34 76.2mm guns, as well as ones with the 85mm F-30 and 95mm F-39 guns.
I'm glad you said that - I like the T-28 a lot, and while the T-35 is visually impressive, it is a sponge cake buckling under the weight of icing on top of it... Less mobile, less mechanically reliable, far heavier, practically un-commandable in any meaningful sense, and with a third of its manpower doing nothing a lot of the time, unless the tank was surrounded and firing rearward also..
Are you referring to the T-29 since it could drive on it's road wheels? If so, no. I believe that title belongs to an American tank made by Walter Christie.
@@unbekannternr.1353En realidad no. Los rusos compraban un par de unidades para hacer pruebas y si les convenia hacian ingenieria inversa y lo producian, sin pagar derechos. Ah. I had heard a different explanation. Yours makes a lot more sense
Great stuff. There is so much to the history of these pre-war tanks.
Another excellent video. Will be watching your lets plays later when time becomes abundent to me.
Very informative, thank you.
Very good video.
UP-gunned and up-armoured version is actually a pretty good tank.
What is the music name at 0:01. Please, I have to know it
March under flag of people's commissariat
Great content. Thanks for posting.
Great video! Love it
Please make more of these. Not necessarily on Soviet tanks. Maybe you could make a video about the "Brief history of the Panzerkampfwagen IV"?

Really nice video, good job!
thank you!
What is the song at the beginning called, the one playing during the parade?
March under the banner of peoples commissariat by Y.Khait
Nice work
Showing how much fast moving too nice clearing I have one question are numbers belonging to the year of design? that meaning in 1928 designs thanks 👍
The T-28 was just Mis-Understood that's all. If it had just one or maybe 2 more Turrets it would have Great!
Bgghhhaaaaahhhaaaa!!! Now that was a funny comment , I laughed out loud .

Under-rated video, tank look cool
Holy cow is fast
I would have redesigned it into an IFV by dispensing with the secondary turrets and fitting a new main turret with a pair of autocannons
This is probably my favourite tank in war thunder
I like it too
All things considered, would you say that the T-28 or the T-35 was the better tank?
T-28 objectively. it was far less of a failure in terms of service career.

Algorizmus post.
👍
Wasn’t there an amphibious T-28?
not that i am aware, maybe a waterproof one for deep wading, but not aware of amphibious ones.
I believe you are thinking of the T-38, which was amphibious
T-37 was an amphibious tank
@@ComradeAlex123 yes , I’ve since found out both the T-37 and T-38 were/are amphibious vehicles. Thanks
Has T-28 been the 1st wheeled armored vehicle, perhaps the 2nd after the RollsRoyce armored car?

@@Alex-xd9gw You are right, the famous Christie suspension was lend leased to Russia.
