If they run out of cars in the Emerald Isle do you get a free upgrade to the elite section?

Great question. It's extremely rare that they run out of vehicles but it can happen especially with the car shortages we saw earlier this year. In those cases there are always cars coming back from returns and the car wash so some will arrive in a couple minutes. In these situations they usually throw anything that comes up into the isle even if it's a luxury or a convertible.

Wow that would be awesome if they got the BMW M3. The Audi S5 is one of my favourites and I hope to find a Supra soon.

Thanks for the video, very informative! I have a National reservation for noon tomorrow at MCO. Hoping to find an S60, 330i, G70, A4 (although my personal car is an A4 - still a great choice) or similar in the Executive Aisle. Do you recommend the A side or B side? Is there much of a difference? If one side is looking sparse can I go to the other? I also have a Hertz reservation with President’s Circle - as well as some extra time, so I might have to explore all my options. Thanks again!

How did it go? It's only about a 10-15 minute walk from the A side to the B side and I usually check both out. Including the Presidents Circle aisle and the National aisles before choosing a car. Hopefully they have more cars around than my last visit. Travel is really picking up and the rental agencies are having a hard time getting more new cars for their fleets. The B side is larger and is often considered the better of the two although I've found the opposite sometimes lol.

@@CarRentalGuy I checked A and B, both Hertz and National. Ended up doing National, if I remember correctly I started at A, checked B, and ended up going back to A (got my steps in for sure). Plenty of cars but nothing stood out, it was the middle of the day and very busy though. I decided on a (rather heavily used) Camaro convertible but the trunk wouldn’t open. I found an employee and let them know, and they asked what kind of car I was looking for. I told them and they said I could grab an Audi Q5 or a Volvo XC40 from the Alamo side, which was really nice of them. Hadn’t driven a newer Volvo before so I took the Volvo. Overall really happy with their service there, one of the better renting experiences I've had. In retrospect the Q5 would have been the better choice I think, but happy I got to try out the Volvo.

Hey guys- I am heading to MCO in about two weeks. Is the walk fairly reasonable to go from A to B? I am flying into A but will most likely want to check B since it’s the larger aisle. I know they’re both on the ground level, is it as simple as walking straight across on the same level or will I have to go back up into the airport just to go back down?

@@zackbarker4870 it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the A side to the B side depending on how fast you walk. Fairly easy walk. You do end up going thru the terminal again as the A and B garages are on either side of it. I usually check out one side and if there is nothing of interest I'll go to the other side. Sometimes I go to both sides just to see what else is there. Good luck!

@@CarRentalGuy Appreciate the response! If I had looked more through your video library, I would have seen the MCO video you did! Thanks again.

So if i book the cheapest car then just hop in a premier line up and pay the difference that would be a better way to get a nicer car for cheap. I am a executive elite member

My work gives me some flexibility to choose who I get my rentals with, I am President's circle with Hertz and Executive Elite with National, but I've never used either just status matched to them. Avis will not match me into their President's club but that's all I've used so far. Is national elite Executive good? Thanks!

National Executive Elite is about as good as it gets they have great customer service too. Give them a try sometime.
