Elephant, Bear and Bull 100: Tanworth-in-Arden to Henley-in-Arden

Veteran oak trees reminded walkers they were passing through the ancient Forest of Arden on leg 5 of the LDWA's annual 100-mile challenge in 2023. By day's end, the effects of walking on sun-baked ground were beginning to tell.

There was another fallen tree in Mockley Wood, a few yards before that one, which was removed by a certain committee member before the event. The second one was a bit too much for my pruning saw though!
