Nathan: Great job, a lot of planning went into these systems. Congrats on keeping all of your equipment, be it grain bins, tractors, etc. well maintained and clean. Just don't see that every where.
Pretty slick set-up. The electrical shack is much simpler w/o the phase converter and 240 3 phase equipment.. Too bad you didn't install a heating duct system to capture the heat from the diesel generator and blow it back to the dryer. Thumbs up!
Nathan, one thing that continues to surprise me is that it seems most of you guys rely on circular bin storage for your crops as opposed to onfloor multiple use storage buildings? On floor storage is most definitely the preferred method here in the UK usually with drive-over ventilated floors mainly due to the low cost per tonne to be dried and stored compared to bin storage. Harvest has now been completed for 10days. It is only fair to point out it that we would only combine crops at MC% of 22% or above in an emergency weather situation. Folks farming to the North of us (therefore a more delayed harvest and often higher moisture % often incorporate heated driers into the system rather than rely on ventilation and lower humidity as we tend to do.)
I like the idea of generators running all this equipment what's the fuel burn on Max load? Are the generators fueled by your fuel storage on the farm or do you have to constantly pour fuel in?
Couple things, first how do the power sweeps work? What makes them turn? Also i see the cables on the legs but what is the main structure of the legs? Jus from the videos they look like kinda thin metal.
Too bad neither state can give you enough power! Can that Generator you ran for irrigation run either Bin site if one of those generators were to break down? From what you've experienced which state would it be better to farm in?
We like the generator so much on our main farm we didn't really try on the second. Just went with the generator. Either site could be run with the irrigation generator in fact that was the one we use in Waldron until we bought the Cummins last year.
Hello, Thank you for information. I am interested to buy a corn silos systems capacity 6000 tonnes, with grain cleaner and dryer, each silo capacity is 1000 tonnes. How much it cost on investment budget? Please send me reference of equipment suppliers.
Awesome setup. I never knew how my ancestors could line up augers. Look At You!
This makes me appreciate how we can get 3 phase 480 Volts right off the lines.
Thanks for tour. Not much sun gets to that bin system. Prayers go up for your wife and family
Thank you for the tours of the green bins and also wanted to say very sorry for you guys's loss give our prayers to your wife and family.

On both grain bin tours. Two thumbs up.👍👍
Very interesting. I’m from a dairy farm and know very little about grain storage.
That works sweet, trickle a bit of corn in as the beans pass thru loading out. Kaching!! 9+ $$$ 🌽 😁
Interesting setups Thanks for tour
Thanks for the tours. Enjoyed them

It is finally getting a little cold in Florida

Nathan I enjoyed both bin tours. Looks like you got everything in order. Awesome setup. Great vid as always catchya at the next one. Be safe!!
I really enjoyed both tours - thanks for sharing!

How many HP are the motors on your unload augers?
I take it that the bin with the pass through auger has a floor in it and a shut off door for the center dump? Are the top dry bins automatic per batch
how many bushels can your dryer and drying bins do an hour?
The Grain Handeler is rated at 1,800 for 5 points of removal. The top drys take between 2.5 and 4 hours per batch usually.

They're is a gearbox that drives them off the unload motor. Can be engaged from outside the bin. The legs are pretty thin metal but thats how it is.
