My son and I cracked up over the CHAINSAW incident today...another Jerky Boys oldie...holy smokes...SO hilarious! Laughed til I cried! SOL..... is so funny!
That's an original civil war cannon? Brrrhrggg. Loud That's an original civil war cannon? Brrhhhggg. Oh it's a big one. hahah.... I can imagine. That's an original civil war cannon? And he's got suits. He's got those silly suits from the nort and da sout. haha so good.
Absolutely. And it’s pure gold how he then described it as civil war memorabilia and validates it by saying he acquired it in the 1960’s. A dried up foot in a boot. Lmao. Gets me every time after all these years .
After I heard this in the early 90s it changed my life. On top of just repeating the lines with my friends, there were little things like that part at 1:29 where the guy goes on explaining and he cuts him off by saying "I'm SORRY, I said." that I would do to my mom or sister in similar circumstances. Or I'd interrupt them on purpose over and over again like the Frank Rizzo volunteer call. God it would annoy them.
I've been listening to this for decades, and it NEVER gets old. He blew the muzzle off the gun from using to much split shot. It put a hole in the sheet rock. LOL
1:21 "HELLO!" "Hello, we got disconnected." "Yes, why are you hanging up on me, sir?" "I didn't, we got disconnected." "Oh my god, I'm sorry." "I didn't get to take the time to get disconnected." "I'm sorry, I said!" That part will always get me 😂
Not that it really matters, but I'm pretty sure it was $3,000. I remember them talking about it on Howard Stern years ago. They said that they got away with a lot on the first few albums, but by this - the 3rd albumn, CD etc, things had gotten a lot stricter as far as using the calls without the permission of the people that they were pranking. And this guy thought he had a major score of all kinds of Civil War memorabilia that he was going to get for practically nothing. When they called him and he found out that it was a prank call, he was really pissed off, but this was one of the greatest calls that they ever made and they had to include in on the CD, so they agreed to pay him $3,000 for the rights to "own" this phone call. Money 💰 well spent!
hahaha, yeah, he thinks he's hit the proverbial jackpot - a cache of of extraordinary, and valuable Civil-War weaponry, and a rather clueless naive seller who just wants to get rid of it! For pennies on the dollar perhaps? Collectors dream about stuff like that - lmao!!!!!! He gets reeled in, hook line and sinker.
"I'm SORRY, I said" .....still cracks me up after 25 years.
Same!
Wayyy better days for sure.
South of the Border..I think they say
Used to listen to these CD’s on the bus coming home from football games on road trips back in 2000.
I still use that line to this day, because I'm a very sorry person, and I'm very good thank you.
I listen to these every couple of years. Laugh my a$$ off every time.
