White bass are the most fun I have ever had. Fished them for many years. After several years of learning how to catch them, it got to where it was a bad day if we didn't catch at least 100 between 2 of us. They can also be some of the funniest fish to catch. Some days you can do everything wrong and still catch them, other days moving from the back of the boat to the front while anchored would mean the difference in not catching and catching them. looking forward to getting my wife and kids on some this year.

Come to Detroit river and clean house. They are a pest in the spring while trying to catch walleye lol

Awesome show!!!! The almighty White Bass or Silver Bass as we call them in Detroit, MI. I love to catch them and try new lures or techniques on them, they fight so hard!!! Its a great time to teach someone to fish during the spawning run. Keep the white bass shows coming, its very enjoyable!! I have noticed that our white bass are much bigger than other places around the country. Thanks! Peace and Blessings!
I love using 2 inch keitech paddle minnow on 1/16th jig head, caught a giant 18 1/2 inch 3 pound white bass!

I have fished them from Michigan, to Texas. I must say, the fight is always the same. Love fishing for them, no matter where I am.
White bass are great for lure testing. What they eat, the rest of other species will. And since they're open yr round, excuse for me to go fishing. Also, they really do not eat anything as people project them to be. Where I fish they're abundant but super picky in the Midwest. Some days it's silent cranks and jerks, some days it's finesse fishing with plastics and hair jigs, and some days it's the loudest lure you have. Sad Rapala discontinued the clackin' series...

I got that lure. But it's fall and I live off of lake Palestine in east Texas. Where can I find them in the lake during fall?
have to be my favorite fish maybe as much as catching specks. sad thing is theyre very hard to find down in deep south texas.
How does that loop knot compare to the surgeon's loop know? Is strength that same? Ok on fluorocarbon?

Wish there is white bass in California. Seeing other states having them is a blast.
They would probably adapt well, especially in NorCal lakes.
Only lake you will find them in is lake Nascimento.
Didn’t learn a thing…. How about tips to help you find these?
A wind protected bay on the north side of the lake after ice out... a day or two of sun will warm the shallow water which attracts the small bait fish... white bass will be right behind them.
I think this what we call white perch where i come from.
