aiso prem badhyo brajvasina, jamen brahm rahyo bharamaya
(The love of the Brajvasis is so super-excellent, that even the Supreme Brahm is allured by it!)
Viprana vidhivat yagya karavat,
Vaidik mantran brahm bulavat,
Tahan na jaya tuka bhog lagavata,
Pai una paniharini nidaratahun, chori chori chadhi khaya
(He will not accept the food offerings from the Brahmans, conducting sacrifices strictly according to Vedic injunctions and reciting Vedic hymns to invoke His appearance, but He goes to steal the yoghurt of the Gopis of Braj when they go to fetch water, in sprite of being insulted by them!)
Dev vrind viradavali gavata,
Aganita gunagana gaai sunavata,
So suni sapanehun nahin mana bhavata
Pai una brajnarina gaarina suni, lota pota hwei jaya
(The groups of celestial gods always sing the infinite glories of the Supreme Brahm through eulogies and panegyrics, lauding His supreme divine virtues, but it gives Him not the slightest pleasure even in His dreams (because they worship Him for their protection). Nevertheless, He feels beside Himself with joy listening to the rebukes of the Gopis of Braj (because of their exclusive love)!
Yogi paramatmahin nita dhyavata,
Gyani brahm dhyaan harashaavata
Tina ina baat Karana nahi bhaavata
Pai una braj banitani bachharana te, baat karata tuturaai
(The Yogis meditate on the four-armed form of God in their hearts. The Gyanis attain happiness in their meditation on the Impersonal Brahm. The Supreme Lord does not care to speak to either of them, but in His form as a child, He happily prattles with the calves of the Brajgopis!)
Shuka sanakaadi dhyaan lagavat
Dhyaan lagaaya samaadhi bhulavata,
Tahan jaavan mahan manahun lajaavat,
Pai ‘kripalu’ una shyama ju ko, jaya palotata paai
(The great paramhansas like Shukdev, Sanak, etc., remain absorbed in meditation on the Impersonal Brahm and hope to get absorbed in a state of divine trance in that Brahm. The Supreme Lord feels too ashamed and embarrassed to enter their minds in that state of trance! Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, “That same Lord goes to Kishori Ji, and feels utterly elated at being given the opportunity to massage Her feet!”)
