For next month I've got to reccomend the blue castle by l.m Montgomery. It is a beautiful, stunning book, hilarious but also heart warming as well. One of my favourite five star reads 💜💗
you should read defy the night. It's one of my favorite books ever and I think you would love the politic aspect of the book, apart that the romance and character evolution are done perfectly through the whole trilogy
Always love your vlogs ❤ July TBR maybe the bridge kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen or start reading anything by Leigh Bardugo! (shadow & bone/six of crows/ninth house)
I love that there's a pronunciation guide in that first book! I wish every fantasy book had that. It's always the worst when you find out you've been pronouncing names wrong after you've read the whole first book when it's a series, and then you literally can't change the way your brain reads the names!
I kept flipping back to it the first half of the book it was SO handy!!! Once my own pronunciation is engrained in my brain I don’t care how the author pronounces it - that’s it locked in 🤣
emmy, I seriously love your videos 💙💙 are you planning to make the mid-year freakout tag? also, you should read the lux saga, by jennifer l. armentrout. I have read it a long time ago, so I can't talk about the quality, but it is a silly fun time that I believe you might enjoy since you like her books
Random, but where is your accent from? I know you said you live in Edinburgh and your family live there too but when you said “water” it didn’t sound British at all 😂
enemies-to-lovers is one of my absolute favorite tropes🐉🗡, however, I feel like every fantasy romance is marketed as enemies-to-lovers just to attract more readers. But this trope is rarely done in a way, where I can say to 100% they're enemies. Often the female main character hates the dark haired, broody, morally grey character for no reason ? Often it is more hate-to-love or dislike-to-love, which is fine but I rarely agree with the enemies-to-lovers- categorization.🥲Also, we got blessed with another video from you.😍P.S. every time I attempt to make a TBR a fail, because I'm such a mood reader.🤣
I agree! last year I read a book recommended as an enemies to lovers marriage of convenience and it annoyed me so much because the characters met each other while the fmc was drunk and she had a lot of resentment over fae, so she didn't have a nice idea of him and he saw her being drunk and decided that she was impolite and crazy. their "ideas" of each other lasted through all of the book while both of them were like "omg but she/he is so attractive" (and the marriage of convenience barely happened, but if I said why it would be a spoiler)
@@juliacintra3065 YES!! I read that book when I had kindle unlimited, it was honestly so boring and also got me annoyed so I dnfed it I think around 30-40%.
help I can't stop watching your vlogs!😍
Girl I swear your reading vlogs are so satisfying, like it so wholesome and vibey . 🐝🌷💖

Maps are my favorite. The fantasy books without maps are usually a 3 star read or below for me because it means the world building isn’t there.

I haven't finished it yet, but When the Moon Hatched! By Sarah Parker. I've heard so many good things about it and there's dragons!
OR lol something by LJ Andrews The Broken Kingdoms series/The Ever Seas

You should add the Crimson moth (Also known as "the heartless hunter) to your TBR. I just finished it and it was quite good. I gave it a 4 stars :)
I’ve read it! I read in in one of my 24 hour reading vlogs here :)
@@emmyrosam omg really, I’ll have to go back and watch it!
@@charlyhelene yes I loved it so it’s such a great suggestion 😍 I put the book cover in the thumbnail so it should be easy to find 👀

Haha I’m Aussie but it’s a very very diluted accent now I’ve lived in the UK for many years!
Faebound was a DNF for me
It was just… not good 😭

Sooo many books are labelled enemies to lovers but aren’t actually, it’s one of my pet peeves 😭 I love TRUE enemies to lovers
@@yeni5882 it was ambrosia, right? seriously, I got so mad that to this day I don't want to go finish book two because it was a mess
