10 songs in the top 20 date from 2009-2010 while only 4 for the period 2022-2023 which proves that the level of the competition was a little higher at the time and above all it is degraded. Incredible to still see Loreen ( 2012), Alexander Ryback and Suntroke project still in this top. It's totally deserved. Don't forget for this year Marco Mengoni 104 million views for Due Vite on the official clip so I think even if it's not a "eurovision" clip it will be well into the top 20 listens!!!!!
ESC 2022 and 2023 were useless, we already knew who would win and they were certainly not the best songs, in fact they were just mediocre. The real competition was who came in 2nd, 3rd, etc

Then, as predicted by the various "rumors" that were read on the various sites, in the final the Swedish song got many "12 points" from the juries but none from the televoting. Never happened: it's the first time that a song has won Eurovision without getting a "12 points" in one of the two charts.

We don't always appreciate a song when it first comes out. Our minds are not tuned in to its ryhthms. It's by constant exposure and repeat listening that we begin to appreciate a song like "Run Away"--and it's not just the Epic Sax Guy, who is great, but also the chemistry between its lead singers Olia Tira and Sergei Yalovitsky. I can understand how after more than ten years the song continues to be played. It didn't win Eurovision, but it has staying power.
The song is my favourite this year. It's so powerful and emotional, I just cannot listen to it calmly. Makes me feel a thousand different feelings at once.
Here hoping that sunstroke project would win Moldova national final again and win then have epic sax guy 6 times in the top 20 2 for each time competed
i think eurovision must change a bit.......since we live in an era where separatism is promoted largely.......eurovision must go a bit towards the mergers.....two or three countries one song made of all three languages..............this would give a new scent to the eurovision contest as it is meant to be..............unionship and love is what we are promoting..........let it materialize.........will drive the separatists crazy...........not one country is better than the other,all of us together are the best ....good luck
