Many bath vids, but this is the sound I was looking for. I have such good memories of laying by the tub with a towel over me and a towel pillow under my head. As the water got higher, I’d feel little drops splash on my face and it was so tingly and wonderful. Sometimes the light would be on or off. There were also times I would get in the empty tub, turn water down low to hear it trickle out and feel the warm water slowly rise up over my body. More tingles. I would do this when I needed a break from life. I don’t have a tub now, so this helps bring back those good memories.
For years I thought I was the only one that did this. Glad to know there are many others who have benefited from this wonderful therapy. Reading your stories as I listen makes it twice as good. Thank you for sharing! Be well all. 🥰

Other thoughts I had…I love reading all the details from others bathtub journeys. It’s particularly interesting that so many of us liked being wrapped in a towel. It’s almost like being swaddled as a baby. Or sometimes you put a robe over your body. I usually curled up in a fetal position. Did you? Many times I sleep this way as well. Feels so safe and warm. I felt so good snuggled up next to the tub listening only to the sound of water coming out and hitting the tub. There was a special echoing sound this way. It may even be similar sound to those who listened on the other side of a wall when a family member took a bath. Anyway, It was as if I was in my own world feeling safe and at peace with everything. Every so often, water drops would hit my skin and give me goosebumps and tingles. I was never so happy. And, wondering if anyone ever reached out their hand to touch the cool tile floor to experience that sensation. Not sure why I did that unless it was just to add another layer of feeling something to the experience. Would be curious to know what you think. Also, I liked to reach in the tub sometimes and feel the warm water against my skin. I did that because I love the feel of water almost as much as the sound.
Then sometimes I would get in the tub at the end and feel the warm water envelop my body, giving me more goosebumps. Most of all I didn’t want the sound to end. I’m so grateful we gave ASMR video recordings now so we can go to sleep experiencing the watery wonders of our childhood.
All of your stories bring me much happiness and tingles. Thank you for sharing and for being one of the water babies in this great community. Would you consider sharing one of your bath stories? Even if it’s very similar it would be nice to hear your version. Be well. 😊

I agree, there's something very cosy, almost magical, about listening to one of these videos and reading the childhood stories of people from all walks of life, from all over the world, who nonetheless discovered this simple pleasure of ours completely of their own accord, with no obvious outside influence to speak of. As for me, I would do the foetal position thing on the bathroom floor same as you, with a towel under me, or sometimes curled up directly on the cool tiles. My eyes closed, lost in one of my imaginary worlds, and/or chatting with one of my imaginary friends. I was always so disappointed when my dad inevitably shut the faucet off. Sometimes I'd complain until he let it run for another couple minutes, lol.
I must say, I've seen your comments on many similar videos now, and I love how openly you've embraced this... hobby? Interest?-- I'm not sure what to call it, lol-- and how you encourage others to do the same. It's a great easy way to spread some good vibes. I've started sharing some of my memories of my bath time as a child on these videos in an effort to spread the love. Tub Club assemble! ✊😄

@@TheArbiter10 thanks for your reply. You are a good writer. Would like to read more of your stories. I love encouraging people to follow their passions. Here in the bath baby community (as someone once aptly described it) it’s wonderful to see so many beautiful depictions of an experience everyone should have. Our world would be much better for it. ☺️

I've been watching these videos at night for a while now to fall asleep. I always appreciated the sound of running water especially in a bath. when I was little I would sit in the tub while the bath water was running and I would cup my hands and palms over my ears and slowly open and close the lid over my ears to get a slow almost "seashell" kind of cutting off of the high frequencies. and I would slowly do that. it would sound like the cutoff on a filter opening and closing on a synthesizer keyboard🎹🎛️🎧 I do homemade electronic music so I find it ironic that I use to do basically the same thing with my hands over my ears while the bath water was running. it was always very soothing very womb like..
